Madden Franchise determines draft order wrong
 

Now that the top of the draft is set, I started a new online franchise in week 17 and did forced wins for all the teams who won today. Every time I do it, the teams tied at 6-10, 7-9, 8-8, etc are out of order from what they should be based on strength of schedule tie breaker. I’m not sure how the order is determined, but this is a pretty big oversight.

Does anyone have any idea how the draft order is actually determined? And is there a work around to get the right draft order?

It’s been broken for years. Ever year around this time someone makes a post like this when they discover draft order doesn't come out right.

I’m not sure if anyone has found a work around.

I don't think there's a workaround because Madden apparently calculates tiebreakers differently

Did you simulate through the playoffs? The draft order will change after the playoffs for whatever reason.

For me personally, this is the ultimate “pick your battles” in terms of being upset over it. I get we want perfection and there are a lot of areas that needs to be addressed.

For me... I will say let’s focus on other areas first.
