lol I was always in awe of the amazing graphics for  wrestlefest.

I was in same boat as you, I rarely was allowed to play so I would just watch the insert coin loop in the bowling alley.  The odd time I did get to Play it was a quick and sad affair because I was so bad.
    Go Lions, Wings and Wolverines!

I know that Hawk and Animal weren't available to pick in WrestleFest, but you could still play as them in Royal Rumble mode.

I spent plenty of coins/tokens playing Wrestlefest at the arcade back in the day. The game was ahead of it's time I was awed by the graphics, wrestlers walking out, Hawk and Animal speaking with Mean Gene. The replication of the special moves were pretty spot on for the time.

I'm 40 and still have not figured out how to abandon a grapple and leave your opponent stunned. I've seen the CPU do it to set up running attacks. Any tips?
