Crossing the Mississippi || A Bulldog Story

Mississippi State Bulldogs have sunk to the basement of the SEC West with Auburn, Alabama, and LSU holding down the reigns for the last decade. It has been 69 years since the Bulldogs have brought home a national title, but the Bulldogs are under the reign of a newly appointed head coach Mike Leach. "I can't tell you how excited I am to be the head football coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs," Leach said. "I loved Washington State, but I am excited for the next chapter in the SEC. It's a privilege to be a part of the MSU family, and we look forward to getting down to Starkville shortly."

    Team Information
    Athletic Director: John Cohen
    Head Coach: Mike Leach
    Rival: Ole Miss (46-62-6)

Side note, I am using Bowl Bound College Football so team rosters wont reflect their real life counterparts.

Not familiar with the game or their ranking system but that seems like a huge drop off from your starting QB having a 80 and your backup being a 49 and 48. Better hope Thomas doesn't get hurt.

just was about to say the same thing.
based on madden/ncaaf ratings it seems like you've got no depth and a horrible OL.

It's a pretty old text-based simulation game, but the ratings are completely random. I will say, Thomas is one of the highest rated QB's in the nation, but it is a HUGE drop off from starter to backup. His durability is 78 though, so fingers crossed he makes it through with no injuries!

Yeah, the ratings system is kind of like a global level scale. There's like, zero players in the 90's. I think the highest rated player is USC's QB at an 84. Imagine dropping in a college freshman lineman into an NFL roster in Madden.

At least that's what I think!

Week 1 of college football is in the books, and we have seen a shakeup in the top 25 already. Oregon's Tyrone Allison dropped a cool 428 yards on a Missouri Tiger defense, while Mike Leach shook the SEC faithful as he came out with a high powered offense led by sophomore Jackson Thomas. We will run down the scoreboard of the Top 25 and showcase how each team fared in their opening week of the 2020 season.
