Yes ok you are also right about this but I think that for this sudden disappearance the NBA owes him something for all that Kobe has done for this sport

Thank Shaq for the first 3.

It's funny how high of a pillar people put Kobe on. Of course he's an all-time great, but point to any ranking system or metric that puts him in the top 10.

If you counting rings, Steve Kerr has 5 (as a player), Robert Horry has 6.

MVPs? Kobe has 1, Steve Nash has 2.

Although I think changing the logo to something Kobe-centric is a knee jerk, hot take reaction, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to it.

Although I do think if they changed the logo, Jordan would be first on the list, and to have Kobe on it doing "Mike's" fadeaway seems somewhat blasphemous.

As an aside, I brought this up to my dad last night, his reply was 'Naw, Jerry West should be the logo until the end of basketball' Lololololol

Lol. No hate (granted, I am a Shaq fan 1st), but aside from personal opinion(s) feel free to share any objective support for Kobe being top 10.

Superstar? Yes
First ballot HOF? For sure
All-time great? Yup

Top 5 in NBA history? Jordan, Magic, LeBron, Wilt, Kareem, Timmy D, and a few others have strong arguments.
