Best Pass Play to Scramble/Run w/ QB in M20?

What's the best passing play for a QB to scramble/run with in M20? One that gives some options to throw, but also draws the D off the QB and opens up some scrambling lanes for an easy 5+ yards (or real homeruns)? In M15 I had a whole offense built around this concept, but haven't found many plays for it in M20. Ideally looking for a 1RB 1TE 3WR formation/play.

Most and Four Vertical; I prefer one with a delay route for the RB. Also like to drag route one of the outside WRs; this is for emergency situations when you may want to Playmaker that closest receiver to change route.

Send them deep is the main thing.

But really, it's about what the defense calls that should be affecting your decision to run. If they go to man, it should give you time to pick up several yards before they even notice that you took off. Because if guys are in zone, they are going to have eyes on you and react quicker.

This 100%. If you line up in a shotgun formation with 4 wide and an RB in the backfield, you can motion him out to figure out if they're in man or not. If someone follows him then they're most likely in man. Otherwise they're in zone. If they're in man then send your guys deep, buy some time in the pocket, and then you'll have a ton of room to scramble.

I like the empty sets because they force the defense into declaring man or zone and they force the defense into alignments that provide a clear path for scrambling.

Speaking of alignments, if they come out in that 335 Wide formation and one of the edge players if off the line, that player is dropping into coverage and give you a 2 vs. 1 advantage to block the next outermost rusher, who will be an interior lineman. That interior guy will have to get through your G and T to get to you, should you scramble in that direction, so I find this particular alignment a recipe for an easy 5 YDS or more.
