Is this an MLB The Show Glitch, or is it apart of the real life rules?

Hey guys, just had a question about changing relief pitchers in MLB The Show. In the 7th inning, I was in a jam, and brought in a relief pitcher with two outs. This pitcher got the out, and the inning was over. When I was batter I had another reliever warm up in the pen, and scheduled him to come into the ballgame. When I was done batting, I swapped relievers, as the previous reliever only faced 1 batter and then the inning ended.

Is this a glitch, or does this abide by the rules in present day MLB? I can't find an explanation or clarity to this portion of the rule in articles.

Abides by the rules! 3 batter minimum is a within inning specific thing. Pitcher can come in and see one batter and get the out and then start with a new pitcher next inning

Ok great! Glad it is program correctly. I like to play the games realistically.
