Has there ever been talk of expanding Madden through DLC?
Like you want coordinators? $10 DLC pack
You want an NFL HC09 type experience? $25 DLC pack
Idk maybe it’s even just an HC09 game type add on. They used to have DLC stuff.
Why would we want DLC that should be included in the main game? Good question. It would allow gamers to “vote” on development focus for future games with their purchases. If it takes micro transactions to get certain features, then I’ll part with some money. EA would certainly benefit by increased cash flow. If they start seeing that people will pay for franchise related DLC, that will become a development focus just like UT did when it first hit the scene.
