I guess it's not that bad considering the sorry state that the HW division is in. That being said, I'd rather have classic fighters.

This confirms that there won't be any boxing game from EA for a long long time.

I don't care about this crossover. I just want the gameplay to be drastically improved and for there to be a lot more replayability.

Given Tyson Fury, and now Anthony Joshua being announced I would be shocked if a zuffa boxing mode wasn't added to EA UFC 4.

am an admirer of boxing as well as muay thai, it would be great if UFC 4 had these types of fighting in addition to MMA.

I hope that the followers of other types of fight, we can have in UFC 4 a small window where we can satiate our cravings to be able to play with other fighting modalities with their original rules, albeit in a simple way, without great pretenses, a basic ring and with a great section for the edition and creation of fighters where you can fill in the list of fighters whether they are MMA, boxing and if there is Muay Thai or any other form of fighting.

Just makes me sad about the state of boxing games these days. Does not excite me to use them.



But yeah, why would they go out of their way to get these in their game? Probably cost a lot of money, does it actually bring in boxing fans? Just hope they are working on an actual boxing game on the side.

Assuming they'll be available in ranked, I'm not really a fan. They'll have far superior striking and the HW division for the most part is full of strikers. It'll just be a division of using these two.

I probably won't bother with HW if this is the case.

They'll probably get 75 takedown defense as well.

Not a good idea. Will likely cause frustration with boxing fans who somehow get this game because of this news. Not that they can't have fun with the "Snoop dog" mode, but that mode is a barebones gimmick. Not enough to warrant a purchase.

Pretty cool but nothing that excites me very much personally. I would have rather they just put in 2 more UFC fighters, but whatever. I know some will be very happy and really enjoy having these two.

I can't help but think acquiring those two's likenesses would have cost quite a bit. Add the rumoured Ultimate Team revamp with those aliens and whatnot and there's even more resources splashed in the wrong area (in my book). Of course, somehow luring in the casuals and the boxing fans makes sense. I guess I'm just thinking out loud right now. Let's see what we get in the end.
