What to do two red lights light up on 360?
 

What do you do if Xbox 360 gets two flashing lights? I saw on forums that it’s overheated. Anyone have any suggestions on fixing it? It turns on for about five minutes and than it shuts itself off and shows two red lights on console. Any help would be much appreciated.

Two red rings means overheating

As old as the thing is, it might be worth your time opening it up and seeing if it is covered in dust.

I’m thinking I just don’t need 360 anymore. Only game I was playing was ncaa football 14. EA will never make that game playable on Xbox One. I own an Xbox One and will continue to play that. I’m hoping down road someone makes a college football game. Doug Flutie Maximum Football is a good game with promise. Thanks for suggestions.

I suggest get one of the slim later models (black). I have two of them and no issues with overheating or red rings.
