I have not seen any word on rosters. Which I'd think would be easy. I just wonder if NBA Today in general will work.

The official roster on XBox One is updated for the re-start. NBA Today works, but I doubt we'll see a "bubble" esque arena added to play in.

NBA TODAY is like the Play Now equivalent of Start Today. They’re different modes. NBA TODAY works but the date is still back in March. Sadly Start Today has been disabled for a few weeks I believe. It’s a major bummer and I doubt they fix it since theyre focused on 2k21 now.

Weirdly enough, if NBA Live 20 was a game, they would get a new bubble arena in their game with no problem at all.

I am not seeing how they can actually do start today until the playoffs start. Because it’s only 22 teams active.

For Start Today theres no way to really make the bubble work, but for months its been available to use starting before the shutdown. Wouldve been nice if they just left it be so that its easier to sim ahead to next season with realistic stats for this season and relatively up to date ratings / appearances. They went out of their way to shut it down though

I understand why 2K wouldn’t go through the effort to put the “bubble” in Start Today, but it boggles my mind that they wouldn’t leave Start Today available to pick up where the season was frozen in March. What do they have to gain by disabling the mode entirely?

They’re lazy, pc guys took no less then a few days to at least put together a decent bubble type of arena, 2k is sorry as heck man

Or they've moved on to the next title in their "fiscal year" which they can fully monetize.

Would the "Bubble" be great to have as a feature in 2K20 or 2K21, sure, but it isn't a deal breaker (for me) since this is an unprecedented, outlier in the game and/or league's history.
