this become more common in the past few years. I remember back then when we had tons of videos from E expo. Then EA decided to prohibit recording videos, and after that they didn't allow any video at all.

I guess it's not doing them any good. you can do the math on why.

I expect a bit more of the marketing budget is probably headed to the next gen product as they transition to that being the primary SKU. We've seen gameplay, many of us have actually played it thanks to the beta.

If they release videos before the game comes out they risk people screaming “hey this looks exactly like last year and years prior”. No real reason to do that when they can still sell the game without marketing gameplay

August 21st starts the 10 free hours with EA Access. There will be tons of gameplay videos dropping at that point; along with plenty of opinions.

This wouldn't be the first time they waited until pretty darn close to release to show off gameplay (IIRC, M18 was like that too). That being said, I'd be pretty surprised if there aren't some GameChanger videos by the end of the week.

I mean... we played the game. There was a beta. There are things im looking forward to seeing (new stadiums), but we've seen gameplay and even played the game ourselves and received an update about changes being made as a result of feedback.

I know there’s not going to be much difference from M20 to M21, but I was still hoping to see some gameplay by now. I didn’t have a chance to play the beta.

Kind of like when the top dudes skip out on working at the Combine. If you're a top pick there is no reason to workout. Teams are still going to choose you. EA has no incentive to drop videos. The game is going to still get bought regardless.

You say that as if everyone here played the beta. I was not fortunate enough to nor were A LOT of people. And there were not any clips floating around, that I have seen.
