    Bruteforce help

I can decrypt files no problem. When I go to encrypt them back, they do not change format back, they stay as a MC02 file. I am on PS3. Suggestions, help ?

Yes, when you remove the MC02 from the end of the user data, the file type is not changing, it still says it is an MC02 file.

Is the folder configured to hide file extensions? I would suspect you haven't cleared the extension if that is the case. Refresh the window and it should tell you it is a file and not an MC02 file. If Windows still says it is, then the extension hasn't been cleared.

If the above doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

I'll advocate for it again, but I never change the file to .MC02 when using the Generic EA DB Editor. When loading a file just change the file type in the lower right hand side of window to all and select your USR_DATA file.

Thank you for the heads up on the file extension. I am able to change the file type, no more MC02. Now Everytime I go to load the dynasty, it is a corrupted file!
