    GNP improvements

    There are a things GNP does good now but it could be better.

    - TKOs with better ref interaction.
    - Bring back bottom transitions like get ups and subs.
    - No more posture duration. Bring back back manual deposture.
    - Reduce GNP damage except in FTF.
    - Bring back Back flat and other FTF.
    - Bring elbows and hammer fists.
    - Reduce GNP speed except in FTF.
    - Block break on the ground.
    - Taunts
    - Stuns from more unpostured positions. Deplete the health bar and you posture up but only now if you have to transition because it if you only block for a certain time the fight finishes as a TKO.

    - Bring back body shots in stacked, mount, and knee on belly.

        They removed it from the stand up I think but it remains in GNP

          I’ll literally stop striking and the delay is so bad my guy will continue to throw hooks while postured up. God this game is terrible.

            I believe the delay is intentional, it’s a queue system. Makes picking your shots impossible, the defense also seems a small queue or a slight delay when posting, hard to defend based on reaction. The auto posture is horrible as well for both sides. In order to use a get up you have to rely on sways or posts since if your blocking you auto posture down

              It’s literally the most unresponsive mess I’ve ever played. The ground game and gnp is a complete wash.

                  Anyone else having an issue as the bottom fighter with your opponent in stacked guard? I just made a post about this because it's so frusterating.

                  In ranked online when I am on bottom and my opponent on top in stacked, I can't pull up the transition screen. I press L2 nothing comes up, press L2+R1 and nothing comes up. All I can do is block and end up getting knocked out.

                  I went into practice mode with 2 controllers and had no problem pulling up the transitions when I was on bottom. L2+R1 brought up transitions to put feet on hips to instantly get out of stacked and prevent getting knocked out. Or I could use L1 to transition to sprawl.

                  But none of this works in my online fights. I press the buttons to bring up the transitions and nothing happens. So I'm just stuck in stacked guard with no way to defend or get out of it so I just get finished because your block breaks after like 4 shots.

                  Anyone else encounter this or know how to fix it? Am I doing something wrong? Like I said it works in practice mode. So WTF?

                    Delay and Strike Queue really hurts GNP

                    promotes button mashing for sure

                    last patch helped!!!! .... but GNP still Bulky/Clunky/Not Very Fun .... hoping some of this gets cleared up, I really want to wrestle/GNP but again it's not very FUN!

                    It's still EFFECTIVE But not FUN ... imo at least, the way things are now

                      Literally EVERY match are guys diving for takedowns because they know the TDD is unresponsive and clunky and they sit in guard waiting for denials and then posture up and spam the face buttons because there's no way to transition to get up from posture up. This game is so bad and it promotes spamming.

                        This patch that was supposed to fix the overpowered ground and pound made it twice as bad. No joke. I just made a full post about it. You can read it here and I encourage you guys to put in your input.

                        This is ridiculous. They did the 100% opposite of what they said in the patch notes. They somehow F'ed this game up even more I'm like in shock how a screw up so big can happen. This isn't even the only problem with the patch.
