I went through the dataset and confirmed there are no 100 rated players from the M21 ratings data used for this roster. However, when I compare the in-game player ratings, I see several 100 rated players. There is some manual messaging that is needed if you will use this roster set.

Unless I can find updated Madden Ratings in a usable format. This may be the last update for these files. Anyone that is able to update player photos, I would like to understand how to do this. (Please dm me)

If you worked on these with BAD_AL, then these are the ones to use.

Explain to me the thing about "no 100 rated players from the M21 ratings data"? I don't understand what you mean.
Also, does your franchise file have a 2020-21 schedule, even if not the correct calendar, dates, times, etc and just the right matchups on the right weeks.

BAD_AL's 2K5 rosters are the best because you can play years of franchise with no crashes

I worked with BAD_AL who helped me understand the ratings process with his tool along with a lot of other caveats I was unaware of.

Version 4 is a complete recompile from a M21 ratings export I did on 10.8.2020. See above for a list of all that was done to the files.

Yes, the franchise includes the current schedule.

This is the last roster work I will be doing for this season. I hope everyone enjoys the files!

Curious, can you tell me if there is a guide you used to learn to do the hex edits for team names? I noticed you had changed Oakland to Vegas but you left the three letter abbreviation to OAK. Just wondering where I would change that. I'd also like to get rid of "Redskins" even if it leaves a black square for the logo.

The team names have been updated as below. This will not change the scoreboard abbreviations in game.

Oakland --> L.Vegas
San Diego --> L.A.
St. Louis -- > L.A.

I have been testing the file and I have come across a few player photo/skin mistakes. For everyone using/testing this roster. Please share the player team and name if you come across similar and I will update them. (See example of A. Jones GB clip)

There is no real guide for the overall process of creating rosters from scratch. Both tools (Finn/BAD_AL) include very good readme documents that help.

I primarily use BAD_AL's 2K5Tool now.

Regarding the team acronyms in the scoreboard. Yes, these can be changed. But, in testing it freezes/breaks the game. Curiosity got the best of me and I had to try it, but I will not spend anymore time on it. (Clip attached)

Haha, I am not a Steelers fan, but I applaud Big Ben for stepping behind center at his age. Both rosters are based on EA Madden 21 player ratings. V3 is from the launch ratings and V4 is from Week 4. After the data is parsed, converted and in a readable format. There is opportunity to use either Finn's or BAD_AL's editor and go through each player or use the global editor features using one of the tools.
