Has anyone heard the week 2 updated in-game commentary?
 

I'm hearing it right now in a ultimate team solo and they have talked about all the major injuries that have occurred:

49ers injuries and players on IR
Giants losing Barkely
James White not playing due to family
The introduction of the new COVID IR

It went on for a good 5 or so plays lol. I only realized what they were talking about when they said 49ers and they aren't in this game.
Not sure when they updated it because I haven't heard it in my Franchise games

You won't hear up to date stuff in franchise as it pertains to the real world since it wouldn't make sense inside your franchise.

They definitely did it last year, but I had the same thought as you, so could understand why they'd stop doing it.

I thought someone removed it in a mod I using.

I personally would prefer it to be an option to turn on and off in franchise mode. Although it doesn't apply your franchise, it is refreshing and actually worth listening to.
