This week is the perfect example of why weekly ratings updates are a terrible idea, and the best argument for always using the 75-man original release rosters in franchise.

Mecole Hardman had a decent game Monday night (4 catches for 81 yards and a TD). But ~60 of those yards came on one pass...an out-and-up that was probably a little more rounded than it should be, and mostly connected because 1) he's really fast, 2) Marcus Peters snuck down a couple of steps trying to jump Hill's dig route, and 3) his QB is from another planet.

Take away that pass, his 2020-to-date stats are 6 catches for 57 yards.

But mostly because of that one play, he got:

+2 AWR, +1 SPC, +1 CIT, +2 SRR, +2 MRR, and +2 DRR.

The whole thing is a case study in tiny samples, recency bias, and stat inflation.

Nate Herbig rated a top 10 guard by PFF for 3 weeks straight and he is a 57. The ratings are a joke.

Lack of Attention to Details by the Ratings Adjusters is just as Sad..

Frank Clark has been an unstoppable force in his 1st 3 games & continues to drop or stay at 83 ovr EA needs to stop going off the PFF scores there misfits & have never liked Clark & no matter rather he has a great game there going to give him bad ratings to suit there agenda vs admitting there wrong..

If anything Clark should be able 89 to 92 at most he is that good..

+ Chiefs Promoted Linebacker Darius Harris from PS & yet he not on roster..

EA really needs to get there act together...
