    NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Settings/Sliders (Hall of Fame)

My goal is always to replicate what I see on tv as closely as possible while keeping things challenging. I didn't venture too far away from default Hall of Fame. I highly recommend bookmarking the SimWorld/SimStyle NBA 2K19 Spreadsheets and adjusting Coach Gameplans for both teams before every game to get better defensive rotations. I included all of my settings so that you could get a feel for exactly how I play. Give them a try and let me know what you think. All feedback is welcomed and greatly appreciated. User and CPU sliders are always the same.

    Re: H2UKNOW's NBA 2K21 Current-Gen Settings/Sliders (Real Player %)

Nice sliders - thanks for posting.

You might play with some of the tendencies section. I find the default 50s do not create enough midrange or 3pt attempts and creates too many drives to the basket. There are a few slider sets to compare if you are interested.

As a constructive comment, I find the center justification makes the data a little harder to read. But that's just me so take that comment with a big grain of salt.

Always glad to see more efforts to make the game better. :-)

And I totally agree with your note about the default rosters being a mess.

I have a roster I use for my season mode and have made these global updates (all players page so its actually not tedious).

Increase the foul attribute for everyone by about 20-30 points.
Increased fouls, hard fouls, and contest shots by about 20-30 points
Decreased drive and finish tendencies by about 20-30 points
Increased dish to open man by about 20 - 30 points

I also remove most of the badges as I really think these create bad behaviors.

These sort of roster changes can make a huge difference.

Note - the foul changes require updating the simulation settings. Set fouls to 0 to avoid the simulator creating way too many fouls. With these changes i average 20 - 35 free throws a game in both simmed and played games.

I agree about shot distribution, but we're in a bad spot with default rosters being so bad. If I was to raise the 3PT Tendency slider to compensate for a shooter like Glen Rice having a 0 in the default roster, will it also led to Giannis shooting 5 per game since he had a 78 3PT rating and his shot tendency was too high as well? It's tough, but I'll play around with them before I release a final set this week. I also tried to make it easier to read. Thanks a lot!

First post updated. I went 1-3 last night so I'll stream two games before work. Hopefully we can get back to .500. Tap in and leave a comment if you do. Thanks!

I will say starting from HOF includes more hidden CPU cheating. This is why I always start with Pro or Allstar to avoid some of the hard coded CPU advantages.

In my opinion (so take this with another grain of salt) HOF is good if you need more or a challenge but not if you are looking for good balance and fun gameplay.

I definitely agree. I mentioned on the stream a few times that I may drop down to Superstar, but my last two games were great. I'm gonna stream again in the morning to test some things out.

These are some very nice looking sliders and very nicely presented. Thank you for sharing these. As soon as I get the game, I’ll plug these in.

Always nice to see a new slider maker because over the years we’ve lost some really good ones that no longer mess with nba 2k

Do you only use the help defense coaching sliders from sim world or you also use the POE’s as well for teams to have different playstyles

I just use the help defense slider and let ACE do it’s thing in Play Now, but once I start a MyLeague I turn ACE off and set POEs for both teams before every game.
