Franchise opinion/question.

Bought 21 this year, haven’t bought since 19. Curious to how everyone does their franchise mode with there still not being a season length option 🤦*♂️ I want a nice experience but I want to get far in, so playing everyyyyy game will be a task. Curious as to how others do it. Every other game ? Every 3rd game ? Sim a week play a week ?

I play 2 games and sim 1, if am tired, if tired sim 2 and play 1 , if am energetic I play 3 and sim 1.

It varies on mood. Sometime sim a week or two and then play a couple games in a row. Try and sim vs middle of the road teams. If i have a draft pick for a team doing bad, ill play to help myself. And if its a top team, I play to get a feel of what I may need to get come deadline day.

I mostly sim road games and play the home games.

I don't play any of the games.

TBH I have not enjoyed the gameplay for a long time but I have fun building teams and simming seasons.

I try to play them all.. On 5-6 minutes period lengths the games go pretty fast.

I play every game, but when I am the home team I play period 1 and 3, but when I am the away team I only play period 2. I don't sim the other periods, Ijust let them play out with CPU vs CPU and get some house work done while it is playing.

I like to play enough to feel like I’m having an impact on it but definitely enjoy the roster building and developing young players etc.

Normally I sim but I’ll jump into the 3rd period of close games.

Franchise opinion/question.

Are the ECHL rosters still useless in Franchise? For years they have the ECHL and you cant access players in franchise. You would have to manually move the player to the AHL to see them.

Is that fixed?

I have not seen this in 18 or 20. Can drop a guy to AHL and if roster is full, he could play 0 games. Kind of frustrating to have prospects literally sitting doing nothing.

I sim up to playoffs and then I play playoffs

The CPU do not order the Goalies to the bench in the last minute of the game anymore. Is there an option to turn it on, or did EA remove this function ?

In the past, this would happen when you set CPU Strategy Adjustment to 0 un the sliders. Could this be your problem?

Yes you are right, my CPU Strategy Adjustment is set on 0. Thanks for your advice.

my strategies have changed how many games I play in be a pro and franchise NHL 22

I now play 3 games and sim 2, cause I can only handle 3 games before I start yawning and stuff, somedays I Play 4 and sim 2, but when am having a bad day 2 games and sim 3.
