What do ratings do?
Is there an explanation as to what the ratings mean here? Like, what governs the RB or WR propensity to fumble? RB's ability to find the hole? Route running for an RB (agility/speed shouldn't govern running as a ball carrier and running a route equally)? How about on defense - what governs ability to shed blocks? Ability to tackle? Is this like Front Page Sports Football Pro, where Intelligence and Discipline (and Aggression and Endurance) govern different things depending on the position? Hard to evaluate a roster not knowing any of these things. Spear, can you shed some light here? TIA!

Re: What do ratings do?
OVR = Overall
SPD = Speed/acceleration of player STR = Strength for tackling, breaking tackles AGL = Agility for side to side movement. END = Endurance related to speed, a tired player that is out of speed burst will be more prone to fumbles. AGR = Aggression for decisions (example: QBs with a low aggression won't stay in the pocket as long) DIS = Discpline for taking penalties INT = Intelligence for decision making on offense and defense. HND = Hands/Catching BLK = Blocking ARM = Arm Strength PAC = Arm Accuracy LEG = Leg Strength KAC = Kick Accuracy |
