Good video. I wish someone would point out that the lighting was a "sacrifice" as the game got more and more complex, and that NBA 2K14 was very barebones. I know someone will argue that the PC modders can do it, therefore 2K Sports can, smh.

Next gen is clearly the better looking, it's not even close.

2k14 still looks great but let’s be honest it was way ahead of its time . The lighting etc was too taxing and the game wasn’t even rendered in 4K like 21 on PS4 pro.

This is no longer a problem on ps5 . What’s crazy is the game is going to look better year by year .

Not a totally fair comparison, but it's closer than it should be. 14's skin complexions seem more... complex?

It's hard to judge any next-gen games if you don't watch the videos in 4K and/or have device that plays 4K video. I feel like this the console generation where can't appreciate the graphics unless we're actually playing the game.

After reading the NBA 2K14 PS4 gameplay thread, there were people saying that it wasn't much different than current gen.

Gives you some perspective.
