Coach mode on PC

Hi there - Posted this in the Madden PC Forum, but didn’t get a response, so thought I’d try in the main forum. I was hoping to get some input from anyone that plays Madden in coach mode on the PC. A few questions:

1) How does coach mode work on the PC vs console. For example, do you still have to control a defensive player and the kicker/punter like on the consoles?

2) Does coach mode on the PC play a realistic game of football vs consoles? For example, do the QBs scramble? Are there better decisions as to when to kick a FG? Etc

3) Which version is better for coach mode, Madden 20 with the mods or Madden 21?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

I don’t play on PC but I’m a coach moser too and one of my close friends is a coach mode pc player and too my understanding there is no difference between how PC and Console play coach mode unfortunately

How is coach mode. Buying the game for the first time in 5 years. I tried to search but I don’t have permission. Anything tricky about getting INTO coach mode ?

What is Coach Mode?*A mode in Madden in which all players, including the QB, move on their own utilizing their attributes. A user acts as a coach of the team where he makes all GM and coach decisions throughout the year, adjust the depth charts, makes trades, drafts, etc… During the game they would call the plays and make pre-play adjustments (line shifts, DB shading etc). Once the ball is snapped the user does NOT touch the controller for any reason; they allow the players (attributes) to decide the outcome of the play.

Why play Coach Mode?*Football is like a chess match. Madden is a great simulation (if used properly). Coach mode is great for users who enjoy the X and O’s and dislike the “cheese” or “gimmicks” of traditional Madden play. This mode is usually for a more mature user one who enjoys a true simulation.
