Yes, they took it out. Reason being they are GREEDY and are trying to FORCE people into playing REC. It's why two years ago they introduced a worse version of the mode called Player Control. Player Control puts a cap on what players you can use and you can't queue up with your friends. Why would you put a team up mode in the game in which you can't team with your friends? DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANYONE?

I've been playing team up since the days where they would put two random teams in the lobby and randomly assign you a player. Absolutely disgusting that they can get away with silently murdering this game mode and no one is saying anything about it. These people do not care if you are having fun with this game or not. They only that you put your credit card on Xbox or Playstation and purchase as much VC as possible. I'm honestly considering quitting the series because of this.

Yeah, it's really disappointing to hear this was removed. All Star Team Up with my friends was what I played probably 50-60% of the time in a given year. "Player Control" in PNO is fine, but I really prefer to get to team up with friends and take on another team.
