How do you turn off duel sense (ps5) audio?

From the PS5 home screen (not Madden, it's a system-level setting), D-pad up several times until you get into the top row of selectable categories, then D-pad right over to the gear icon - "Settings". From there scroll down to accessories, enter that menu to get to "Controllers", and a slider for controller speaker volume should be on that screen. Zero it and you shouldn't hear the controller sound effects anymore. It won't eliminate the sounds themselves from the audio, but they'll be harder to hear because they're coming in along with the rest of the game audio rather than through the controller.

Thank you. Do you also know how to mute players? Nobody seems to be aware in ps5 that the controller is a mic.
