So here is my strategy for recruiting.
-only go after guys that my Bonus Points are the highest for the recruit
-If it is a superstar recruit or one that I really need, then I will bend this a bit
-50% of my recruits are the "unwated" ones that no other team is after
-During week 2 and 3 I go over my entire board. If I am gaining positions, I keep them. If they are going to be out of reach then I cut them and search for more "unwanted" guys to recruit
-Search for players with a commitment % under 25. Find ones with no offers.
-Finding gems on the console is a little harder than using the website
-Sort by squat #s for OL and LB's. Its not 100% but will give you some decent gems from 3 star guys
-I try and sign most of my guys during the season so I can use all of my "offseason points" on a big fish recruit
