Changing Schemes
 

Does anyone know how to get the schemes to stick in franchise? Seems like every time I try to switch up schemes and playbooks it doesn’t stick and all my players aren’t scheme fits even though they match up correctly. Getting really frustrating because I like a west coast lower run and base 4-3 but it seems like it just always reverts back to the last schemes

Under coaches scheme...but you can't use generic playbooks

I know how to change the scheme but it won’t stick when it comes to my players. When you say you can use generic playbooks, what do you mean by that? It only offers me other teams coaches playbooks

I am not sure what you mean by stick to your players. The player archetype is determined by their ratings not any scheme

4-3 base defense has the left end being a run stopper. I have run stoppers there and it says they aren’t scheme fits because it is falling for a power rusher instead. 4-3 has man cover corners yet both my guys are man corners and aren’t scheme fits.

If we decide to use a generic playbook we have to switch to it before every game correct?
