Think about it this way.... a hundred million plus more PS4 consoles out there then PS5 consoles. Many people may want the Jackie Robinson collectors edition with steelbook, but do not have, and may not have a PS5 for quite awhile still.

Too much DD stuff to warrant the extra price for me I think, but that was probably always going to be the case. Releasing the game late then charging extra to get it early doesn't sit particularly well with me either tbh, or charging extra for the PS4 to PS5 pathway.

Nice to see the donation to the JRF, even if it is only $1 out of the $30-40 extra

Only way to get PS4 and PS5 version without buying individually, if you care.

I believe so. I think that they realize most will not have a PS5 or Series X by release. NBA 2k did the same. Mamba edition came with Disk and Code.

This way we don't have to double dip. The game does not support smart delivery.
