Shot stick meter off boost

Is it really fair to play a opponent with the shot stick meter off getting a 5% boost if you have your meter on?

I hate the idea of changing anything besides the difficulty and camera view on my sports games. I’m not trying to make the game easier for me to be good at it.

All I know is I shoot a kabazillion times better with shot button no meter than I did with the meter on. I shoot 200 kabazillion times better than when I tried with the shot stick. 5% wasnt doing a damn thing for me.

I think shot stick is far beyond the reach of skill ill ever have so if someone else is good at it and gets 5% bonus, all I'll say is good for you with a tip of the cap. Doesnt bother me.
