Anyone having issues trying to access the community files on the Xbox series x? Or maybe any console? I keep getting errors, trying to look for updated rosters but can’t download any

This happened last year too. I'm convinced that it's done on purpose so people can't download updated roster.

Been trying to figure out this mess too! I am newish here but I had just downloaded Madden 21 on PC from EA Play, thanks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and one thing I have loved doin in these newer games is doing an entire sim with old rosters and draft classes and seeing how thing shape out.

Didn't even want 21 at first but since it's basically free and it has some things I have wanted back in the games for a long time, like team tracking, but now I can't even do what I enjoy. How does EA continue to be the worst? I have played both 2K sports games (NBA and WWE) and despite how bad things can get, I'd rather pay them than EA. NBA 2K is at least so damn jam packed with content and detail and everything that it's hard to hate even if people are lazy. And WWE 2K20 may have been a literal unfixable broken mess (For multiple reasons, a good number you actually can't blame the development team on) and I give that more of my time of day.

As excited as I am for a NCAA game next year especially with being able to transfer rosters again or even use community files on THAT games, but man seeing anything with EA's name on it makes me like 50% less excited for anything they put out.

After about 15 minutes of trying i was finally able to download a file. Just have to do the annoying thing of repeating download until it finally does

I'll have a news story up on this in the morning. I know Madden Share can be touchy overall at times, but it does seem to get worse sometimes in March/April, which is maybe anecdotal simply because a lot of us try to use it more to get draft rosters etc. post end of season.

Me as well on Series X.

Takes 10+ times, and when I do get on, sorting, and file types do not work. Shows Roster and draft classes no matter what tab is chosen.

Forget about downloading anything if you don't have time/patience. Took me 35 minutes to grab a single draft class. Gave up getting a roster file.

Same as last year - I found the solution and you have to do this:

You have to clear the saved data before loading the game - once you find the class or roster you want - I encourage you to save it locally and during the draft class stage at week 3 - import the file locally - these are the steps below that help you to save the Draft Classes or roster to your local drive:

First go into Madden - then exit out of the game - Go the main screen on XBOX or PS4 - Go the icon for Madden and click the little button (the one with 3 lines) above the right thumb stick on the controller - this will be bring up a small window - click on manage game & game add ons - click on saved data - click on clear reserved space - doing this allows for the community files to down be downloaded successfully - I usually download everything I need at this point - the only downfall is that you have to do this procedure each time an update is made to a file if you want the most accurate file - it also doesn’t erase anything that is currently saved so need to worry about any of that - let me know if you have any problems or questions
