Franchise question
I am trying to start a franchise and my roster keeps getting messed up. I have put my team roster to 26 players from 40 and saved it. Loaded the franchise and my roster Kees getting messed up. Anyone have any suggestions? Do I need to fix my roster i. Spring training then proceed to the season?Looking for friends on PSN. PM me your PSN if you want to become friendsTags: None -
Re: Franchise question
I don’t have it in front of me at the moment, it I remember a thread somewhere that suggested setting your 26 man MLB team at the end of spring training and then sim from the calendar as opposed to the “sim to regular season” prompt.
As in, keep on simming day by day until it automatically jumps to the regular season.
Not 100% sure if that works but give it a try.

Re: Franchise question
I have tried almost everything. I have a feeling I am missing something. I just want to start a franchise with a 26 man roster so when I start the season no roster or lineups with be messed upLooking for friends on PSN. PM me your PSN if you want to become friendsComment

Re: Franchise question
I have a 26 man roster saved and I load that into franchise and then it adds players to make a 40 man for spring training. If I go through spring training and move the players to the minors or take off 40 man it either uses options or has to go through waiversLooking for friends on PSN. Re: Franchise question
Under your user settings, is “mode specific” options set to manual instead of auto? If they’re set to auto it’ll adjust all that for you.Comment

Re: Franchise question
I have everything to manual. Does every team roster need to be a 26? I just did the team I’m starting with to see if it works. I don’t want to waste my time and remove all the teams 40 man if it won’t workLooking for friends on PSN. PM me your PSN if you want to become friendsComment

Yep. Did this last night. After finishing the last spring game, I made the appropriate cuts to my team by sending down players back to their minor league clubs. Set my lineups for all three leagues. Once I was done i sim through the date and went to the regular season and bam! Everything that I did was still there!

So sim spring training then move the players that were added to the minors? Do you leave the them on the 40 man? If you don’t they have to pass through waiversYep. Did this last night. Franchise question
Before I started franchise I selected everyone that I wanted on my 40, then once I got to franchise I simed spring training and before I advanced I moved the players back to triple a or double a. I made sure that all 3 clubs had 26 players each, and once I adjusted lineups and rotations I went to the calendar and simed a day and started the season. Everyone was in the right spot!
And yes I kept them on the 40 man roster.

Did you adjust your 40 man and rosters outside of franchise first? Also make sure that you have 40 players and not less on that roster. Then started franchise. I quick simmed 3-4 games then made adjustments based off of performance (for those who were auditioning for a spot in the majors) then after the last game I didn’t advance the day, I sent down the players I wanted and then from the calendar I simmed each day until it prompted me to start the season. Everything worked fine for me.

Re: Franchise question
I have tried a 26 man roster I saved with just the team I’m going to use. I have also tried a 40 man. Can you give me a step by step? Maybe I’m getting confused and doing something wrong. I know if previous versions we had to do a 30 team control. I’m willing to either do that or single team. I have had 26 players for all 3 teams. It also looks like when I load my 26 man roster for my team in spring training it has 40. Does that roster need to have all teams set to 26 man?Did you adjust your 40 man and rosters outside of franchise first? Also make sure that you have 40 players and not less on that roster. 1. Go to roster control outside of franchise
2. Add whoever you want to your 40 man but make sure you have a full 40 players on it. Make sure that you have 26/26/26/15 for all 4 clubs
3. Start franchise with those rosters.
4. Go through spring training once you get to the last game make your cuts. Make sure you have 26 players in the majors.
5. Sim through the date(s) don’t hit simulate to regular season yourself, it will prompt you once you sim through the last day.
