Saw at EA Forums that Daveart who does the Goalie masks for the NHL is now an official partner. Could mean real masks coming.

Next year when the game has been developed on next-gen platforms, some things they could do that would be a major improvement
* More masks, even if not "real" paint jobs....give us more masks that are more inline with what goalies actually wear. Giving us 4 or 5 masks per team with paint jobs that just look somewhat legit compared to the ones we have now. There are some really good ones, but there are too many that just flat out suck. Clena that up a little bit and it will go a long way
* More goalie equipment overall....get rid of the pad sets that people stopped wearing 4 years ago and make sure that you have all the CURRENT sets that you see goalies wearing throughout the league
* Player faces - there is no reason to not have 80% of the players real faces....especially the established NHL regulars
* Real Coaches - or at least have the coaches look somewhat similar to their real life counterparts. Give us the ability to edit the names of the coaches if necessary. For example - Bruce Cassidy of Boston should not be named something like Ulha Pekarainen and look like he is 70 years old. Give us a 40 to 50 looking guy with dark hair and just get "close enough" if you can't use the real coaches.....make him look somewhat similar and let us edit the name
* Keep improving on the arenas and crowd atmosphere.....games between Boston and Montreal should have more electricity in the crowd than a game between Arizona and Florida
* Keep improving the gameplay - more realistic flow, cycling, board battles, etc.
* Allow us to select all 31 teams at start of a franchise and assign a profile to the team you are using and a different profile to the 30 teams you are not....so that you technically have control of all 31 teams. This is something MLB The Show nails and allows you to have full control over the league
* On that note....the goal of the developers should be to try and model the game after MLB The Show. Follow the blueprint of MLB The Show and apply a lot of what that game does and translate it into the way you make a hockey game. Realism, realism, realism
This game is close and some small improvements to certain areas could give this game a giant leap forwardComment

Allow users to be able to EDIT Players Attributes IN SEASON or FRANCHISE MODE....This is such an easy thing to ask for!Comment

.... and to edit the far from real looking EA generic faces. Some Players never trade cause they looking so ugly. Also let us add Images on empty black Silhouettes and to change old existing in our Custom Rosters. Many of them are old and no more up to date.Comment

I used to love how NHL 98 had real masks. Vernon, Roy, Brodeur and Cujo all had their real masks. The only thing that sucked was when you traded them, they kept their old masks. I remember trading Vernon to the Sharks and he still played with a Red Wings mask in San Jose.Comment

Marty's mask was in NHL 14 as well because they struck a deal with him.Comment
