Back mount
 

When I take the AI's back while they turtle up the command to grapevine/flatten them out is right stick up.

Also in this position, the command to get up is also right stick up.

I often times try to flatten my opponent out only to get up to standing. I can't really figure out why sometimes i flatten and others i get up. Does that happen when my opponent attempts to transition while i'm pressing up to grapevine?

How about some uniformity and have "get up" be a combo of L1 and right stick up like all the other get ups?

Exactly as you said - it's when they try to transition. It's incredibly annoying to go for flatten but to stand up instead and has been brought up previously a few times.
