If I were thinking two goats I would lean towards Brady and Montana. Mahomes is too young and short in his career; maybe in 9 years, he will be goat.

Though it looks like one goat is bigger than the other, so a young goat and an old goat, maybe.

It's definitely Brady and Mahomes. They were spotted taking photos together after the Super Bowl in an EA tent.

Not that the cover matters all that much, but putting Mahomes and Brady on the cover who were both just on there recently is lame.

I feel the same way. I was hoping the rumors weren't true.... although I was happy someone in a Bucs jersey finally made the cover. But what if there are other covers, like Mike Vick / Lamar Jackson, Rice / AB, etc

Not that the cover matters all that much, but putting Mahomes and Brady on the cover who were both just on there recently is lame.

I don't know that I've cared much about the cover for several years. I'm just hopeful that 6/17 is going to bring us more news than just the cover athlete/s.

While I never care about the cover, I did figure with whatever was scheduled 6/17, I did figure they would start the info rollout this week. But, if it is Brady and Mahomes, it is kinda lame being that they were the Madden 18 & 20 cover athletes

Something like Brady/Mahomes makes sense, and I wonder if it could usher in a period of trying to get the Super Bowl opponents represented on the cover annually (which wouldn't have to always be QBs). Could do an existing star (like Mahomes) and someone who was just drafted high, but that's probably a bit riskier.

The rub is the media / promotional ask and some players willingness of course.

I think it'd be very compatible with their vision of a competitive game (MUT, Yard, etc) in addition to the potential legacy or franchise angles marketing could take.

I could see Brees and a rookie 1st round QB if it was purely a franchise-driven cover. Or something like Brees and Herbert.

i know why EA put Brady again on cover because EA live in Florida that where Bucs stadium is in Florida
