Hmm... given that they made such a big promise on focus on franchise after last year's debacle, I am really surprised that they are releasing franchise first. I figured they would safe it towards the end so that it could be a grand finale kind of thing.

Franchise is part of the beta so they want it out there before it gets spoiled.

They're really delivering for franchise with their focus so far. Info in the trailer, info in their writeup, a promise to continue delivering franchise features throughout the year again... we'll see how it all works but franchise is getting way more attention right now than MUT.

From T4 on Twitter... "It all comes together in the newly redesigned Franchise Hub, which has been streamlined to surface the most important and pertinent information to you. If all this isn't enough, EA Tiburon is also planning its first post-launch title update for Franchise mode...tentatively targeted for September. In that mode, you'll be able to dive deep into player scouting, with the ability to manage and assign national and regional scouts, with players that gain and lose value on your draft board throughout the course of a season."


This is HUGE.

It finally looks like they’re taking pages from the NHL GM mode which IMO is extremely underrated. Glad this is all coming to fruition. Can’t wait for the 21st!

Before anyone gets too hyped:

*Dynamic Gameday, Next Gen Stats, Star Driven AI, Gameday Atmosphere, and Next Gen Player Movement 2.0 are only available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

So better get Nextgen...

Just a heads-up: it appears based on the Dual Entitlement info page at EA’s website that some of the new franchise features won’t be available on PC (admittedly I might be confusing Dynamic Gameday as a franchise feature?).



Hopefully this is something we get clarity on next week.
