    The weird 3 quarter swings

Anybody know if it is a bug or if it is intentional? They look horrendous.

They "fixed" the easiness of the check swing from years past to appease online doe does, so now we see horrible animations on check swings that are practically broken this year. I assume those are the swings you're referring to? If not sorry.

I'm talking about the swings that aren't quite full swings. The ball seems to travel just as far on them but they look awkward af. Not sure if I need to hold down the swing button all the way through the follow through or if it is some kind of new swing.

Oh okay. Honestly never noticed that then I guess. Some guys like Eugenio Suarez have weird looking swings though

I thought you were talking about the stupid check swing one too at first, but now I know the one you mean. I don’t think they look bad, just happens too often IMO.

                  Is this what you mean?

Using Kyle Seager as an example. IRL, his swing concludes with the bat all the way behind him. Whereas, in the game, his swing stops in the air.

It seems like so many batters have that kind of "post-swing". Definitely annoying.

Honestly prefer that vs the quick drop of the bat on home run swings.

that's the one. When the PlayStation studios animation plays when starting up the game you even see Tatis do that swing. I'm guessing it's not a glitch?
