Why is zeke disappearing from game after a few snaps in Franchise mode?

Hey guys, has anyone seen where your starting running back plays a few snaps and then disappears from the game in cloud based franchise mode?

I know the game is buggy, but is there a workaround? I tried putting zeke second on the depth chart and that might have helped but not sure... It's just weird, he will start game and then all of the sudden pollard is starting and zeke can't be put back in the game under any circumstance... I know he isn't hurt or anything of that nature, I'm perplexed, never seen anything like it.. Thanks

Technically, Zeke had been disappearing from games all last year 🤣

but really, it's probably one of many bugs in this game they haven't patched yet. I'd report that in the bug/glitches thread to make sure it gets addressed.

I play with the Cowboys and yes Zeke has completely been removed from the game a couple of times on me.

Progressive fatigue is absolutely broken at the moment. I’ve just now tried turning it off and hoping it works, but guys are still starting games already in the yellow stamina.

What week is it? Could be you’ve ignored progressive fatigue all season.

This definitely is not it. I’ve seen that exact same thing w/ Elliot in the opening game of the regular season - he’ll disappear in the first half — with no way to put him back in despite no injury — and never return for the remainder of the game.

I had Swift on the lions disappear in game 3. He was in yellow the next week at the weekly training. I've been giving the reps to the RB back ups and He hasn't went ghost the last 6 games so far.

From around the internet I'm hearing its not working properly and if you reach the playoffs a lot of teams won't have their starting RBs but they aren't inquired.

Just have to wait patiently I guess.

Is this really going to be one of those "my guys are disappearing...waaaa!!!" threads where 10 pages later the OP says something like, "well I set my fatigue slider to 75x and my autosub to 95/100."

I've played a fair number of games on default fatigue/autosub settings...I have noted had this issue.

If you're looking to rotate players, use formation subs and specialty positions in the depth chart to mix/match players' strengths and weaknesses instead of messing with sliders/autosubs.

A lot of these bugs sound like bugs that use to plague the NCAA Franchise. Progressive fatigue used to be an issue on that game. You pretty much have to edit player fatigue ratings to coincide with auto-subs.

Not to mention turning fatigue off itself completely fixes the CPU AI in games.

Anyone found a solution to this? I've set fatigue at zero, turned off progressive fatigue, and it seems like guys don't recover. Maybe progressive needs to be turned off to start a season for it to actually work?


Also, any workaround for choosing practice reps for XP and injuries with progressive fatigue set to off? For some reason that setting being off blocks the option to choose practice reps, which makes 0 sense since that affects other stuff besides fatigue.

I agree.. No matter what I do, zeke ends up missing.. I've turned off the progressive fatigue as well.. Oh well, it's a strange bug to say the least.

I have the same issue with Josh Jacobs on the Raiders. Up to week 5 he is 2nd in the league in rushing. I'm now at week 10 and he is on the bench for 5 games with no injury and not fatigued at all. My record was 5 and 0 with him, now I'm six and 4 and worried about making the playoffs. I wonder if this is Game Plan related. Clearly there is a problem here.
