last year i get bored  on the first day that was free to play let see this year how long takes, I cant believe there people spending money on this game   and I was a fan of Madden since the 2005 edition  but this last 6-7 years  oh lord you can play for longer cause is the same, 0 game logic  0 sim football is all visuals and hype staff

This doesn't apply to the blind haters, but anyone with an open mind & a Next Gen console should give the game a try. It's a ton of fun. And it's free.


It's Madden so if you're looking for flaws you'll find them, but if you're looking for a much improved game with a deeper franchise you're gonna find that too.

Is it a deeper franchise? The coaching carousel dont really work right and the progressive fatigue is…well u know. Also the bengals and chargers still drafting qbs in the first rd. Its not much improved IMO. Slightly tweaked is what i would call it

I haven't bought a Madden game since Madden 25 on the PS3 (because draft upload from NCAA 14).

I've played the trials and BETAs over the years but have never enjoyed it enough to pick up. Although 10 hour trials are nice its tough for someone to get a full grasp on the game that hasn't played it on a regular basis for several years as I spend most of my time trying to learn the controls and be familiar with them.

So being able to sit down with the game for a few days without worry of running out of time will allow me to see if its time to get back into Madden/NFL football games.

So the PC free trial is through Steam and not through Origin? I don't know why I care since I have it on PS5 but being a diehard PC Madden player for the last 3 years has me curious to check it out on PC and see what changes there have been. Maybe I should just leave the past in the past.

Seriously miss modding and some of the "under the hood" tweaks you could do even when full on modding didn't work on Madden 21/22. To be able to tweak some AI elements was nice and could fix some glaring issues that we are dealing with on Next Gen.

Anyway....I cosign on Madden 22 Next Gen along with everyone else. It has "improved" but you have to play it "and" give it some time to realize the subtle improvements that add up to a much better experience.

When the scouting update is ready, it's going to feel night and day. People underestimate how huge a thing scouting is in Franchise.
