Nba2k22 turning off the console (Xbox series X)
 

The game is consistently turning off the console.
It happened several times before the patch and today twice after the patch.
It happens in all modes, myteam, practice and online league.
This is not the city menu issue. It happens randomly on myteam, games or practice mode.


Is this happening to anyone else?

What’s going on with the X with certain games? F1, Madden, now 2k?

I was about to say the same thing. I have those games as well and when they first came out, they made my console extremely hot. I don't want to have buyers remorse with getting a Series X. But, whatever causes these things to happen I hope they fix. Otherwise, I'm switch teams lol.

Sounds like they are overheating and maybe shutting down to protect itself from damage?

I’m on no team. I buy all systems but with just about all Xbox games coming to pc I went PS5/PC.

Happened to me last year when playing in H2H and rec center. But it only happens in 2k.Not ,COD, Madden, No mans sky, MLB, ETC.

I remember this happening alot last year while playing COD! Got scared and stopped playing (Didnt want console to brick) They ended up patching something and it worked fine.
