Up To The Tusk | An Arkansas Razorbacks NCAA 14 Dynasty

    INTRO

    Hello,
I doubt many of you know me as I have not been very active on here in years. In the past I had several very short lived dynasties. Honestly, I don't think I ever made it past the first season. However, as I've gotten older I am more focused and get distracted less easily, so I feel it is time to try this again.

I would like to state in this post that I know this will not be the greatest dynasty of all time. I understand my limitations. I don't make graphics and I really struggle to remember to upload images and videos. However, I'm going to try my best. I'm also not the best writer in a journalism style, despite studying it for a short time. Additionally, this game is almost a decade old and I don't know how many people are even following these things anymore. I won't let that deter me.

This dynasty will follow coach Alex Flight, an offensive mastermind who after four years as the head coach at Colorado, has signed on with the Arkansas Razorbacks. This dynasty started in 2013, with some unique conferences. I had no idea I'd ever get to this point. However, here we are entering the 2020 season.

Flight runs a pass heavy offense, going with a traditional Run and Shoot at Colorado (thanks to Dr. Death). Now at Arkansas, he's tweaking his offense a little bit, but I'll get to that later.

I intend to stay at Arkansas for the duration of this thread, although there is one job I have my eye on but that is many years down the road in game. So let's buckle up and get into this thing.

Re: Up To The Tusk | An Arkansas Razorbacks NCAA 14 Dynasty

    Rules

The purpose of this dynasty is to succeed while being realistic. I don't want to win every game by 30+ points, and I would even be disappointed winning 95% of my games. However, I've played this game for 8 years. I'm good at it. I can't help that.

    Game: NCAA Football 14
    Platform: Xbox 360
Rosters: 2013 roster but at this point it is all game generated players
    Offensive/Defensive/User Skill: Heisman
Injuries: On, all user players injuries ratings decreased by the following their first year
    QB-20
    RB-25
    WR/TE-40
    OL-80
    DL-80
    LB-70
    DB-40
Fatigue: Off. This is to get better CPU play in the second half, and to compensate for the lack of user subs I will use formation subs, especially on defense, to simulate substitutions. This includes random substitution of 2 players in every defensive formation besides goal line and prevent. Offense will be randomly determined as well for receivers and running backs, although some will be intentional due to personnel.
    Quarter length: 8 minutes
    Game speed: Normal
    Player min speed threshold: 32
    HFA: Off
Game Rules (I believe these sliders are from J-Kit, but on the chance he updates them farther I will post them now)
    Offsides-91
    False Start-91
    Holding-92
    Facemask-59
    OPI-98
    DPI-99
    Kick catch interference-60
    Clipping-54
    Intentional Grounding-54
    Roughing the Passer-54
    Roughing the Kicker-35
QB Accuracy-5 (10 if starters accuracy is 95+)/5
    Pass Blocking-30/45
    WR Catching-0/40
    RB Ability-35/70
    Run Blocking-5/25
    Pass Coverage-45/25
    Interceptions-35/35
    Rush Defense-25/25
    Tackling-30/30
    FG Power-45/45
    FG Accuracy-0/50
    Punt Power-45/45
    Punt Accuracy-0/40
    Kickoff Power-50/50

Recruiting: I don't have concrete rules. I have goals.
-Sign the number of seniors I have leaving
-Set my preseason board. Start with players who have me as their top school (soft commits) followed by players who have me in their top 3 (interested). If I have to drop lower I drop to top 10 and if there still aren't enough prospects at a position I go into all prospects, search Arkansas, then Louisiana, then Texas. I can't do this just because I want a better player.
-Sign from my initial preseason board which doesn't change until someone commits somewhere else or locks me out.
-At that point I will go into the prospect list and sort by lowest percentage. I'll look first in Arkansas at the position I need to replace. If there is no one obtainable, I'll look at Louisiana, and finally Texas. If I have to go to LA or TX I will only look at 3* players max.
-Any 5* must play as a freshman
-Every year I will create a minimum of two prospects and track their careers. I will only recruit them if they have me as their top school, which is not the goal. I will take reader suggestions for these.
-I must keep at least one walk-on, that will be explained later.
-My goal for pipeline states are Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas in that order. I want most of, if not my entire roster to come from these states. Other states aren't off limit but they must be interested in me from the preseason.

Manual roster rating edits: This is a unique part of the dynasty. I use a number based work ethic board. While work ethic isn't a unique concept, I don't think I've ever seen it executed this way. Every number has a letter grade from A to C for physical skills and position based skills. This is the max they can IMPROVE in the off-season. I understand this may be a complicated system for you to grasp if I don't properly explain it. If you have trouble following, reach out and I'll try to do my best.
    -A wheel is spun for each category. The wheel goes from A-F (no E obviously). An A is +2, B is +1, C is 0, D is -1, F is -2.
-Physical changes are set, meaning the max is +2 and minimum is -2. This impacts speed, strength, agility, and acceleration.
-For skill based, a multiplier is set for position groups. The same wheel is spun for QB, RB, WR/TE, OL, DE, DT, LB, CB, S, K/P. An A is 5x multiplier and decreases all the way to F being 1x.
-So if a player has a C physical cap and a B skill cap with a 3x multiplier, and they have two A wheel spins, their physical stats don't change and their position specific skills go up +3. If an F is spun for both, physical skills go down 2, and position specific skills go down 6.
-10 numbers are assigned diamond numbers, and 10 are duds. One of these will change for both diamonds and duds each year via RNG. These only impact freshman who are assigned this number. Again, the wheel is spun twice, once for physical and once for skill. This acts similarly to the multiplier, in that A is +/-5 and F is +1/-1. The multiplier for their position is again active for position based skills. So theoretically, it is possible for a freshman to go up +5 in speed, strength, agility, and acceleration, and up 25 in all position specific skills, making them a 99 from the beginning. However, it is also possible to go down 5, and down 25.
    -The letter caps are fluid.
All conference increases skill letter grade by 1
All American increases skill and physical letter grade by 1
Award winner increases skill by 2 and physical by 1
A player being cut decreases skill and physical grades by 1
A player being redshirted decreases physical grade by 1 (the player then randomly changes number).

-QB Strength upgrades. Based off weight I will increase my QBs strength stat by the following in their first year
    Sub 190, none
    191-200, +5
    201-215, +10
    216-225, +15
    226-239, +20
    240+, +30

-Freshman number changes. Because jersey numbers are so important for me, all freshman will be randomly generated if I want to change them. This is pretty much reserved for impact players and won't be done by choice. The only two numbers off limit to be randomly given are 7 and 77 (I'll explain why later). Because of that, these grades are locked.

    In game house rules
-I mostly just play the game. My playbook has I believe 1 shotgun read option that I will only run very infrequently. I'm not spamming plays, especially read option, four verts, and slip screen. My playbook has, I believe, one of each of these.
-The biggest in game restriction is based off my starting QB's awareness. I can do the following based on their rating:
    Motion-50+
    Flip run-60+
    Flip play at line-65+
    Basic hot route-70+
    Advanced hot route-75+
    Basic audible-80+
    Formation audible-85+
    No huddle change formation-90+

-Coaching adjustments: Holding blocks, big run, big hit, and strip ball are all to be turned on aggressive on the first play. The goal is to add some penalties and some fumbles. Catching cannot be turned on conservative as it eliminates drops completely. Chew clock has to be turned on when up 21 with ball, unless I'm in the final two minutes of the first half. If this has occurred at any point in the second half, I must sequence my plays like I'm Pete Carroll. That means: run/run/pass/punt.

Players Leaving: I don't convince any player to stay. I have to accept transfers.

I hope that covers everything. I know its a lot. If I forgot something I'll note that I have edited this post.

*I only include the record held in game. For example, Tyler Wilson holds the real record for passing yards in a career at 7765, but for some reason they don't count his full 2012 stats. The same happens to Cobi Hamilton who had 175 career receptions, including 90 in 2012. Yet they included his receiving yards record from that year?

One other note, Wayne Martin is credited with 26 sacks but in game only has 25 so I kept the 25.

Report: Growing unrest in Boulder from coaches, AD
            Written September 30, 2019

The Colorado Buffaloes have not had the season they had hoped following their 14-0 National Championship in 2018. While a 4-2 record is not bad, there are several issues with this team that have caused a rift between offensive and defensive coaches, and this has leaked into the athletic department as well.

The first issue has been turnovers. Colorado has more than twice as many giveaways as any team in the country with 15 interceptions and 12 fumbles. This includes three games of four interceptions by reigning Heisman winner Joel Thomas. Despite throwing for over 500 yards per game this season, fans have called for a quarterback change because of Thomas’ 15 interceptions, only 3 fewer than both his freshman and sophomore season.

The second issue is the imbalance of the offensive attack. While they have thrown for over 3000 yards on the season, the rushing attack is averaging only 3.9 yards per carry. Defensive coaches have blamed this as a reason for not only the turnovers, but the team's most recent loss to Texas. Despite scoring 76 points in 4OT, the Buffs only managed 64 rushing yards on 39 carries, compared to 69 passes.

Defensive coaches have blamed these as a reason for the defensive woes. “Of course we’re giving up so many points, we’re on the field all game in terrible field position,” one anonymous defensive coach said. A bright spot just a year ago, the Buffs have given up 68 ppg in their 3 toughest games, going 1-2 in those games.

“We have the talent, at some point the blame falls on the coaching,” Coach Alex Flight said Saturday following the teams 78-76 loss to Texas. Flight was clearly referring to Coach Mike MacIntyre, the Buffs former head coach who was given a second chance as defensive coordinator this year. Flight was vocal in the offseason about wanting Brent Venables who instead took the job at UL Monroe.

The tension has leaked into the athletic department as well. AD Rick George supported Flight, mentioning the teams National Championship and Flights success to this point with the program. However, at the end of his statement he said, “defense wins championships” which has led to speculation that this saga has not ended.

Heisman winner benched in home loss
              Written October 26, 2019. Last update October 27, 2019

After his 4th four interception game of the year, reigning Heisman Trophy winner Joel Thomas was benched, much to the joy of the fans. That joy was short lived, however, as backup Lionel Dixon struggled with accuracy for the rest of the game and the Buffaloes lost 36-28. Coach Flight wasn’t happy to make the move but said he hoped the move would teach the fans a lesson.

“You would think they would have more confidence in the coach and quarterback that brought them a championship a year ago,” Coach Flight said in a rant based postgame speech. “He [Dixon] clearly wasn’t ready for game action and I knew it wasn’t a good decision, but apparently I’m coaching for my job at this point.”

Dixon would finish 25/52 passing for 223 yards with a touchdown and interception. Dixon really struggled with accuracy as many of those incompletions were not remotely close to his receivers, who were often wide open.

Dixon did lead a bit of a comeback with the help of the run game led by Jacob Johnson who averaged 6.4 yards per carry in one of his best games of the year. The Buffaloes got to the 1 yard line in the final minute down 36-28. However, they were stuffed on 3 straight plays and lost as time expired.

When asked who the starter would be versus an Oregon State team that touts a top 20 pass defense, Coach Flight asked “who do you think should start?”. This answer was tongue in cheek as he seems to want to stick with Thomas no matter what.

Update: AD Rick George tweeted early Sunday morning the following:

“A coach shouldn’t blame the fans for a decision he made. He is in charge of the team
and while his job is to please the fans, he also knows more about the team than them.
Coach Flight is at fault for this loss and shouldn’t make excuses for his poor
              performance.”
This tweet was quickly deleted but not before stirring up controversy and speculation on if Coach Flight will return to Boulder next year.

BREAKING: Alex Flight out at Colorado
                Written January 1, 2020

In a stunning turn of events. Colorado and head coach Alex Flight have parted ways. The news came in the post game press conference following Colorado's 37-33 win in the Fiesta Bowl. Tension had reportedly been building all year and culminates in what appears to be a mutual parting of ways.

Colorado has agreed to pay Flight the remaining four years of his contract worth a total of 18.4 million dollars. Whoever Colorado brings in to replace Flight will have big shoes to fill. Flights resume includes an 8-5 season in his first year, a cumulative 43-10 record, a 4-0 record in bowl games including three BCS bowls, a conference championship, and the second National Championship in Colorado's history.

The next step for both Flight and the Buffs remains to be seen. Many have speculated Flight will take an NFL job. However, being a Washington native, Flight could be holding out for Pete Carroll to retire and to take over as head coach of the Seattle Seahawks.

Many have speculated this move may be to open the door for Mike MacIntyre to step in as head coach for Colorado. MacIntyres first run as head coach was short lived as he was fired after going 3-9 in his first season.

Report: Flight down to Razorbacks, Hurricanes, NFL
                Written January 15, 2020

The National Championship winning head coach has reportedly cut Stanford from his potential destinations list due to the academic restrictions. This leaves just two schools and the potential of moving to the NFL. Flight is reportedly leaning towards accepting the Miami Hurricanes job, who fired head coach Pete Kwiatkowski after a 4-8 season. Flight has told those close to them he is intrigued at the thought of “Bring Back The U”.

However, Flight hasn’t ruled out Arkansas as he would like to return to the SEC, a conference he went undefeated in as an offensive coordinator at Texas. He likes the thought of going to Arkansas because of their rivalry with his former school, after the Longhorns passed on Flight for his offensive coordinator in their search for a head coach a year ago.

BREAKING: Flight signs 5 year, 34 million dollar deal with Arkansas
                  Written January 18, 2020

Former Colorado head coach Alex Flight signed a five year contract worth 6.8 million dollars per year this morning to become the 35th coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Flight takes over after Tommy Tuberville retired to pursue a career in politics. Tuberville led the Razorbacks to a 2-10 year, with many fans saying he quit on the team in the middle of the year.

Flight will bring a drastic change from traditional Arkansas football with his pass happy run and shoot offense. Flight has said he has added a wrinkle to the offense to better ease the Razorbacks into the offense. When asked why he decided on Arkansas, Flight said, “They offer a lot of opportunities that just weren’t present in Miami”. One of those opportunities was “the chance to retire here”. Flight added that Miami, in their successful years, has been a stepping stone to the NFL and that he didn’t see it as a long term stop.

“I did pretty well here in my first go round,” said Flight when asked how he felt his offense would fit in the SEC. While that is true as he led Texas to a 27-1 record and two national championships as their offensive coordinator, he ran more of a hybrid offense between the traditional Run and Shoot and Tom Herman’s spread.

Colorado brings on Hawaii head coach Nick Rolovich to replace Flight. Rolovich led the Warriors to a 13-1 record last season. Many had expected the Buffaloes defensive coordinator Mike MacIntyre to take the position despite his poor performance a year ago. Instead he will stay put as defensive coordinator.

Arkansas also fired offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and defensive coordinator Mike London. The Razorbacks replaced Kingsbury with Arkansas State OC TJ Weist, and London with Central Arkansas defensive coordinator Brooks Johnson. Weist performed decently with the Wolves, averaging 25.8 ppg which put them dead in the middle for points per game in the country. While that hire may not be eye popping, fans have to remember that Flight will be handling the bulk of the play calling on offense. Defensively, Johnson is a bit of an unknown, spending only two years as coordinator at Central Arkansas. However, his defenses were historic, allowing 9.7 ppg and 7.3 ppg in his two seasons. Most importantly, Johnson employs the same 4-2-5 defense that Flight runs.

                    Recruiting Summary
                    Written February 5, 2020

Coach Alex Flight got his quarterback on national signing day. 4* ATH Brian Bradford went with the Razorbacks over Kansas State and New Mexico, citing Flights hire as the deciding factor. “He told me I’d be the front-runner to be his day one quarterback, I couldn’t pass that up,” Bradford told ESPN this morning. The number 32 prospect in the class of 2020 threw for 3658 yards and 34 TDs to just 7 INTs in 12 games this year, adding 230 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns. Bradford was also his team's starting strong safety, where he was named all-district.

Flight also added 4* WR Will Louis, 3*’s QB Julius Wade, OLB Jamaal McCray, WR Kurt Carey, and CB Tre Richardson in what was a busy national signing day for the new Razorbacks coach. “We had a lot of work to do, and we accomplished what we set out to do,” Flight said at the deadline.

Two players who signed before signing day that may be key pieces soon are twins Derrick and Andrew McDonald. Andrew is a pure running back with good size and speed, while Derrick is a slightly bigger athlete who projects best as a wide receiver.

For Razorback fans wondering about Flights recruiting ability long term, look no further than what he accomplished at Colorado this year. The Buffaloes finished with the third best class in the country, signing the second and third ranked recruits in the country in HB Speedy Sasso and ATH Jimmy Jackson. Both signed in the middle of the season to enroll early, meaning they couldn’t follow Flight to Arkansas.

The number one recruit in the class, DE Brady Elliott from Aberdeen, WA, signed with UCLA on signing day and projects to be a day one star. Elliott ran a 4.46u with a 500lb bench press and 610lb squat. The fourth overall prospect, HB Donovan Daniels, signed with Auburn and do it all athlete Bobby Nelson, the fifth overall prospect, signed with California. Auburn and UCLA each added one more top ten prospect in WR John Webb and WR John Lee, respectively.

The top five classes belonged to Alabama, Stanford, Colorado, Clemson, and Ohio State. Number nine Auburn signed the most 5*’s with 4, but only signed 2 4*’s. Flights alma mater Washington signed the eighth ranked class. His other finalist, Miami, finished with the 13th class, headlined by 5* Martin Benjamin. Arkansas finished 59th.

The full Arkansas class can be found below, as can the top 25 classes.

                      Initial Spring Roster released
                      Written March 14, 2020

Arkansas released their initial roster on Saturday ahead of the first spring practice on Monday, including some notable position changes. However, numbers have not been assigned to first year players yet, and cuts have not been finalized and won’t until after spring ball.

The most notable, yet least surprising position change was Brian Bradford who is officially listed as a quarterback now. The 4* athlete has all but been announced as the starting quarterback to open the year.

Previously listed as fullbacks, Vince Andrews and Calvin Parker are now listed at center and halfback respectively. Andrews lacks the size of a center, but has demonstrated himself to be an elite blocker. Parker is a big body who can run through almost anybody, and projects as a third running back for the Razorbacks. Two fullbacks are still listed on the depth chart, Luke Thomas and JUCO Billy Seymour.

Corey Stewart has moved from left guard to right guard, while true freshman Ryan Martinez is listed at left guard. Craig Cannon is listed at left tackle after many expected the true freshman to play right tackle. Center Brian Jones is now listed at left guard.

Left ends Joseph Hill and Jeremy Hudson have moved to right end, a position that was weak after losing the top three players at the position. Freshman Jamaal McCray is listed as a middle linebacker after playing strong side linebacker in high school.

Chris Charles and Anthony Mays have moved from cornerback to free safety to add depth in Flight’s 4-2-5 defense. Meanwhile, free safety David Barnes has moved to weak side linebacker. Strong safety Thomas Watkins has moved to middle linebacker.

The last two notable positions are freshmen Will Louis and Derrick McDonald being listed as wide receivers after being recruited as athletes. Louis also projected as a defensive back, while McDonald played an H-Back role in high school, leaving the door open for him to play running back or wide receiver. However, Coach Flight emphasizes having big and fast receivers. Both Louis and McDonald run sub 4.45 40’s and are over 6’, the ideal combination for Flight. McDonald playing receiver will also open up more carries for his twin brother Andrew.

                      Final roster released, cuts made
                      Written April 30, 2020

Arkansas released their final roster on Thursday, including first year jersey numbers and cuts. Three players were cut, including two scholarship players. Three walk-ons made the roster.

The first cut is of surprise to nobody, as JUCO fullback Billy Seymour will not make the team. Seymour was the second best fullback in spring, behind sophomore Luke Thomas who is younger. When you consider that Coach Flight’s offense has never used a fullback, this was an obvious move and many are even surprised that Thomas made the roster. Flight had urged Seymour to reconsider his commitment when he took over the job, insisting it was very unlikely that Seymour would hold his scholarship.

The second cut also shouldn’t be surprising as another JUCO player was cut, walk-on guard Chris Ferwerda. Ferwerda was one of the worst players in spring, and saw no action in the spring game.

The final cut comes at the expense of freshman free safety Jay Calhoun. Many expected Calhoun to make the roster over walk-on freshman Jay Veney, but the lack of depth at the strong safety position and Calhoun’s refusal to switch to the position eventually cost him his scholarship.

Walk-ons to make the roster include tackle Harold Givens, cornerback Fred Smith, safety Jay Veney, and safety Bryan Cooper. Coach Flight has announced that one of these players has been honored with the Burlsworth Award (not to be confused with the national Burlsworth Trophy). That comes with the honor of wearing the retired number 77 (as a lineman) or number 7 (as a skill position) and a scholarship.

In terms of jersey numbers, Two players switch numbers. Quarterback James Gonzalez will lose the number 7 and have to wear 14 as 7 is a reserved number for Coach Flight to honor Brian Burlsworth, the former Arkansas walk-on who became an All-American against all odds and wore 77. New center Vince Andrews will go from 27 to 72.

The winner of the Burlsworth Award is freshman walk-on cornerback Fred Smith. Out of Oak Hills Place, LA, Smith had 0 FBS offers. His biggest offer came from FCS powerhouse Stephen F. Austin. “He’s defied the odds and had a great spring camp, he’s earned this,” Coach Flight said about Smith. Smith was surprised with the award at a team meeting, with his parents watching their son receive a scholarship via a live video feed.

First year players numbers are listed below:
                      15 Brian Bradford
                      9 Will Louis

American changes name and adds four, including defending champs
                        Written February 7, 2020

Conference realignment continues in a big way, as the American Athletic Conference has added four teams and earned a BCS auto bid, while also assuming the name of the Big 12. Meanwhile, the Big 12 will assume the name of the American Athletic Conference, in what is essentially a swap.

The most notable addition to the new look Big 12 is defending National Champion, the Houston Cougars. Houston will be joined by a Hawaii team that finished 7th in the polls, Nevada who has been a familiar face in the rankings in recent years, and UCF. This gives the Big 12 twelve teams for now. However, the aptly named conference may not remain that way for long as they continue to search for more teams to add to join the other 4 automatic qualifying conferences with 16 teams.

Other moves include UMASS from the MAC to the new look American, Temple to the American from Conference USA, and Texas State from the Sun Belt to Conference USA. This leaves the automatic qualifying conferences and the MAC as the only conferences with a championship game. The American has 11 teams, C-USA has 9, Mountain West has 10, and Sun Belt has 7.

The Big 12 will split into East and West divisions. The East will consist of Army, UCONN, Houston, Kansas State, Navy, and UCF. Meanwhile the West will be Air Force, Baylor, Hawaii, Nevada, SMU, and TCU. Their conference championship will be at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas and there will be no consistent rivalry games that are protected. The conference will have an automatic bid to the Fiesta Bowl, if their champion does not make the National Championship Game.

For those who may have lost track, we have broken down the conferences below:

Kamaru Nguyen, OT from New York City, NY. A 6'9" 370lb behemoth who recently picked up the sport after moving from Nigeria. His top 3 is Nebraska, Army, and Wisconsin.

Justice Jefferson, CB from East Los Angeles, CA. A 6'4" corner who is an athletic freak but tends to improvise on the field. His top 3 is Alabama, Notre Dame, and Texas.

Christoff Muller, TE from Sawmills, NC via Germany. A 6'7" TE that does everything well, but thrives using his power in blocking and to catch in traffic. His top 3 is Alabama, LSU, and Notre Dame.

Arkansas sets 2020 schedule, announces future home-and-home
                            Written August 1, 2020

While the opponents were already set, the Arkansas football schedule was released today confirming dates, times and locations. Arkansas will play 7 home games, 4 true road games, and a neutral site kickoff game that was rescheduled when Coach Flight took over the program.

Arkansas will open the season up at home versus Georgia on August 29th at 6 pm. They follow that up with the Cowboys Kickoff game versus Texas Tech, a game that was originally supposed to be at Texas Tech. The Razorbacks then get rival Texas at home on September 12th before traveling to Norman to play Oklahoma.

After that, Arkansas will play their first of four teams ranked in the preseason polls in College Station. Texas A&M enters the season ranked 10th. A third consecutive road game will be played at Missouri, before returning home for 3 games. Those games will be #11 South Carolina, UL Monroe, and #24 Ole Miss.

Two bye weeks in a row will set the Razorbacks up for the home stretch where they travel to Mississippi State before returning home to host Texas State. The final game of the season is their rivalry game at home versus #6 LSU.

The Razorbacks will only have 5 games starting later than 4:00 pm EST, coming against Georgia (6pm), Oklahoma (8pm), Missouri (6pm), South Carolina (4:30pm), and Texas State (8pm). The remainder of their games will kickoff at 12:30, with the exception of the LSU game that kicks off at 3:30 pm.

Additionally, the Razorbacks announced a home and home in 2021-22 with Coach Flight’s former team, the Colorado Buffaloes. “We had to scramble to get this done because we knew the fans would want to see it,” said AD Hunter Yurachek. This will mean that Flight will coach against two of his former teams, Texas and Colorado, in the next two years.
