Halftime show no longer exists
 

NBA 2K22 on next gen

Does anyone else have this issue?

Edit: previously halftime show was still working if the console is connected to the server. Now even with the internet connection, i do not see any signs of Ernie Shaq Kennys halftime show any more in PlayNow mode

I mentioned this in my thread I made last week about the game being mostly online only. If your connection drops in the middle of a offline game it sends you back to the main screen.

I'm strictly a offline player so this definitely sucks

never had this problem with 2k21 (PS5).

What’s funny is that supposedly it’s the opposite on current-gen. You get no halftime show online, but you do offline. (I’m on current-gen but I haven’t tested offline yet; just going by what others have reported.)

You don't get halftime show in play now offline games when you're connected to servers online.

Just another reason to avoid beta-level, half finished, rushed 'next gen' consoles and games that spend all day bragging about lighting like that matters more than gameplay.

From what I gather, it is an issue across all next-gen consoles.
If you are not connected to the server, you don't see Ernie, Shaq and Kenny's halftime show. This applies to PlayNow games.
