Well, I guess I'll appreciate Heinicke finally going up 2 points to a 64. I'd love to see his rating changes if he was starting for Dallas. He'd probably be pushing into the 80's by now.

So Danielle Hunter goes a whole year away from a neck injury, first game back, gets one sack. Goes down by an overall point. That's just stupid. But he gets 3 sacks and no movement? What the hell. The dude is legit fully healed and while I'm clearly biased as a fan, I've always felt that the Vikings players are intensely poorly rated.

It's kinda funny. It's like he has a maximum rating of what he has now and they're just not going to budge.

He's nearly caught more passes and receiving yards in the first 2 weeks than all of last season so maybe this will be an out for them to finally do it.

Na. Dude could run for 3K this year, win MVP, and he wouldn't move. This is some weird bias that Guru has and he is gonna die on this hill. Same reason that CMC has a 96 injury rating even though he can't stay on the field.

There's clearly some automation going on. They were randomly dropping Star Lotuleilei throughout last year - except he was a COVID opt out, he wasn't on the field at all.

Why is it when I start with live rosters in Week 3 with the Vikings, DT Sheldon Richardson is cut and another team picks him up?

I hope Logan Cooke gets some love, he's been doing great. Leads the league in net punt average.

Honestly Lambo needs his Superstar gone until he proves it again.

It looks like his season injury from last year has really messed him up.

We could have won last week and he missed two. And that was against Denver. They have a top 3 secondary in the NfL.

Still weird seeing Beathard with an 81 THP.

He should be at least an 88.

The Jaguars always have terrible ratings though.

Does EA post anywhere or does any user keep track of players added in each weekly update? Trying to see who I'm missing from last week's roster to this week that I need to add.

I don't remember with live weekly rosters players getting cut and on different teams like Sheldon Richardson with the Vikings seems to end up on the Giants?

What happens when you start in say, week 3? Does the CPU shuffle players around before you can even start?

Yes, the CPU will make moves before you're in the franchise.

It's quite annoying seeing 2-3 teams have brand new QBs the instant you start your new franchise. Something tells me that Carolina isn't signing Kaepernick in real life to replace Darnold anytime soon nor are the Giants going all in on Cam Newton, but they do that if you do a a live start in week 3.

HAHA.. you're so right! I had to go in and lower Kaps ratings but since the CPU games simulate before you play yours he plays in that 3rd week for Carolina. Thanks for reminding me to do the same with Cam.

Such simple things that bug me about Madden.

Make a backup save file with his ratings lowered before creating a franchise so that you do not have to worry about that.

I like to use the live start so trades are accurate.. there is no way around it that I know of.
