RES2 2K22 All Star Current Gen Sliders

    Hello Community -

Note - this is for Current Gen (PC).

Here are my 2022 sliders. Once again, thanks to the various contributors to this thread and the other very talented slider makers whose ideas often inspire me.

My usual caveats - I do not use the shot stick or aiming system. I'm a button shooter using Real Player %. Your style may require adjustments.

Focus - My focus as every year is on less bumping, good movement, and smoother gameplay with good (well...decent given the game limitations) sim results.

    Mode and Roster Notes

I play Season Mode with a completely custom team. Here are the roster adjustments I make -

    Badges

I have removed most of the badges because I find they are unrealistic. I mostly rely on the Roster Attributes and Tendencies for good gameplay. I use the global edit feature to edit all players. I I flick the right stick down twice for each column to eliminate most badges for most players. Legendary and Gold badges will remain for the top players only (after 2 flicks downward with the right stick the Purple and Gold badges are now Silver and Bronze if that makes sense). I keep the Blue personality badges.

These MyLeague setting are largely copied from IrishSalsa's post so all credit goes to him. I tweaked a few things but credit where credit is due.

    Reminders

Everyone's expectations, style, and skills are different. Use these and other sliders as ideas to try out and adjust to fit what works for you. Make suggestions and test things out. Post your findings and results for others to benefit. Be kind. Have fun.

    Thanks again - as always.

They are the only current gen sliders I see around, I'll try them. Thanks for the work.

I use Real Player % for FT so left it at 50. I'm of no help if you use the shot meter.

Awesome. Let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions.

I'm experimenting with higher Body Up Sensitivity settings so this is one I may bump up.

Of course I will let you know, I play on ps4, for now I think I will use the default rosters but as soon as some good ones come out I will try them.

Some things I'm testing now. We'll see if these stick.

Increased Body Up for both User and CPU from 50 to 65
Increased CPU hustle from 25 to 35
Increased CPU On Ball D from 15 to 25
Increased CPU Off Consistency from 50 to 60

Will play a few games over the next couple of days and if I like the changes I'll up date the first post.

How is that done? I can't find global edit.

You need to be in MyLeague or Season mode - can't do it from the Roster before starting the mode.

Go to the roster and press the button to quick edit. You will start on the screen for your current team. Pull the trigger to move from team to team. After the Wizards you will have an All Players screen. Now you can edit everyone.

Press button A to shift from editing one cell, to the entire row, or column. If you select the column, now you can use the right stick up or down to increase of decrease the values for all players at once.

I will get my season roster fully edited but before I start playing any games, I do a Save As and select a new season so I have a default save file with all the changes already made so if (when) I need to restart a season I don't need to re-do all the edits again.

A few more tweaks I'm testing now.

Pass Accuracy from 50 to 45/40 (trying to increase non-steal turnovers)
Ball Security from 50/25 to 35/0 (more turnovers...and offsetting the higher Ball Handling slider)
User Ball Handling from 75 to 80 (still trying for smoother/faster fast breaks without the slowdown stutter step animation)

PC here as well. I'll give this a try later. I think mass editing is maybe the only way to get this to play reasonably well, so I'm definitely curious to see how this might change things.

                      Thanks for taking the time.

Still no Current Gen patch for me through Steam. Curious to see what they changed and what needs to get adjusted.

User 42 for 3s is working for me but I use a lot of ball screens which may be helping. Bump it up for sure until you are seeing a better success rate.

The shooting values depend a lot on play style, playbooks, etc. So you should make adjustments that work for you.

I've played a couple so far, and I didn't really feel like it's too low. I shot in the mid 30's percentage-wise and that seems right.

With the offensive consistency slider set like it is, you'll have stretches or even games where it just seems like you can't hit anything...and that feels right also.
