NHL 22 Community Rosters

[Simple Mathematics]

Hello Operation Sports!

I have an idea and I want to gauge some interest here. There are so many good roster makers out there and many of them are on this site.

Instead of making a bunch of different roster files, why not put our heads together and come up with the best roster file ever made?

We can all come up with ratings for the players and then take an average of all of us. That way we’re not overrating/underrating certain players.

So I’m calling on everyone here who wants to join! I’m looking for all the current-gen roster makers, the last-gen roster makers, the NHL 2K roster makers, anyone who hasn’t made a roster yet but would like to help out, anyone who wants to throw these ratings onto the various consoles for us, anyone!

We’ll need a good name for these rosters, too.

Hi, every year I edit my Czech league sets, I could contribute my hand to the work again. I don't know, but if it will be compatible on both consoles, I have an xbox series x.

I love this idea! Count me in. I’m not sure how much time I’d have to chat about ratings and whatnot but I’ll gladly do some 2k10 testing should that be needed. I have a good chunk of the ahl ratings I’m happy with.

There was a guy named Reff who absolutely had the one of the best roster for last gem. He was with a few other guys with NHL 14 and NHL Legacy. Forgot the other guys named but their roster was fire.

I’d love to see them get involved.

Good idea, like it. Made the last years for every game +300 missing Players with best possible appearance. It took me a lot of time, usually much more than 100 hours every year. As long as we have the same customization options for faces and the creating is without possibility to add a Player Bio pic it is for me no fun anymore. I hoped strongly for a Roster transfer from NHL 21, but it failed. When something will change and my points are in I am on Board.
Would be intressting if we can recreate and merge a downloaded, shared Roster with a current EA Roster or will it be locked ?

Yoooooooo! That’s the guy. He and a few other dudes had a legit fire roster. They had it all edited and updated from faces to potentials and overalls. Their draft classes was also insane.

I’m doing some behind-the-scenes legwork right now. I’m putting a Google Sheet together that lists all the NHL players with spaces for everyone to put in their suggested overalls.

I’ll report back when everything is ready for everyone to put in their suggested overalls.

This season I have 105 goalies rated and every stat category rated. Median 3 years. 95 is ceiling for best rating. Lemme know if I should curve it or not.

We also should evaluate every player accordingly to his abilities with X-Factor abilities and Super Star abilities. For example I would vote on Adam Pelech to use at least Super Star Ability "shut-down", cause his defensive abilities are completely flying under the radar by EA roster makers.

I would suggest, we also put in your spreadsheet a column for Zone and Super star abilities to vote on and get the most realistic roster.

Are you still planning to release the roster? I still remember the roster you did on nhl 14, if I recall correctly. It was probably the best roster out there.
