          How is Mahomes still a 99? Other than beating up a bad Eagles team he's showing some real issues with decision making.

              Madden's player ratings are simultaneously an assessment of each player's talent level and also - important in this case - a marketing tool.

              Patrick Mahomes is the cover athlete and has worked with EA Sports for a couple years now, while Derrick Henry does not have a similar business relationship with EA that we know of.

              In addition, EA has openly used the OVR 99 threshold as its own marketing tool - "The 99 Club". Derrick Henry won't go up to 99 until there's a 99 Watch social media post from EA Madden's socials about him first.

                      There's automation to this. Players will start to drop if they aren't accruing snaps, stats, or w/e. Last year players who opted out of the season gradually dropped throughout, for no other reason.
                      Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.
