I can’t get out of first day of mynba…..I go to play and/simulate games and it’s freezes and reboots game. What the heck is going on and is there a fix? I’m getting tired if this…..

Mine has been fine for an entire season but it now crashes every time I try to continue past the first day of the second season.
I've put so much time into this save. There better be a way to get past it.Comment

Go into your MyNBA. Go to options and then team selection. Select to control all teams and back out. Now try to sim past the point where the MyNBA would freeze. If you can, just go back in and deselect control all and only control your main team.
My current MyNBA file did the same thing to me a few weeks ago after I imported Greg Odens player DNA from the 09 Blazers to the one in MyNBA. For some reason the Greg Oden in the draft class has an 82 shoot 3 tendency. I couldn't play any Hornet games past the MLK game or the game would crash. I control all teams anyway but I automate everything for the teams I'm not playing with that year. I went and deselected control of all teams and took control of the Timberwolves. I was able to sim a few weeks. Then I went back in and took back control of all teams and I am again focusing on the Hornets and everything is good. Give it a shot.

I thought of this and gave it a try but it didn't work unfortunately. I switched control to the Pistons too and it let me sim a few days but then just crashed again.
I haven't bought the last couple of 2Ks and I only got this one because I got some PS Store vouchers over Christmas. Wish I never wasted them now.Comment

I thought I heard this was roster related……. Something about two way contracts and the euro stash guys but I’m not sure, haven’t personally ever had this happen

I believe it's definitely roster related. In my case, I was cruising along in MyNBA in the 2024-25 season, and everything was fine. I control all teams, but I automate everything except team options (so that I can sign 2nd rounders. CPU teams won't option/sign a 71 overall 2nd rounder for under million but turn around and sign the same 2nd rounders for 3 times that in free agency.) and I have trade approval.
I noticed that when I play the Hornets that Greg Oden jacked up a lot of 3s, regularly. I looked at his player card and dude has been jacking up 200 plus 3s a year and hitting like 17% or something terrible. Odens overall FG % is trash too at like 27%. Oden was the 2nd overall pick in 2022. I looked at his tendencies and sure enough I found the issue; Odens 3 tendency was 82. I got that Oden from the 2K historic draft class. I copied the player DNA from the Oden on the 2009 Blazers whose tendencies look right and imported only the attributes and tendencies to MyNBA. When I tried to play the first game against the Hornets to see how different Oden would play, the game crashed. It crashed every single time.
I control all teams anyway, so I went to the team selection screen and deselected all and tried to continue. The game said that a user must control at least one team. I chose the Timberwolves at random. I was able to sim past the Hornets game. I went back in and reselected all team control and so far, so good. Everything was good before I edited Odens player DNA.Comment

Do you guys have G League on? After a previous update I couldn’t load any games in MyNBA anymore. I could sim but trying to play would crash the game. I feel G league just adds more things to go wrong.Comment

I don’t have G league but euro stash is stIll there. You have to go into draft and delete that option on players especially if you do a lot of automated teamsGames I'm playing FOREVER: NFL2K5, That is all.Comment
