Been wanting this plus classic goalie masks for years. With roster sharing great 60's and 70's rosters could be made if these options were available

Agreed, there are so many iconic jerseys from the past missing

The old time goalie gear should also be made smaller like how it was at the time

The community could be creating some amazing rosters with these options.

The ultimate for me would be a no helmet option, vintage masks, classic arenas in create a team mode, option to reduce number of teams in a season mode, and as a bonus also a vintage style presentation for menu graphics and such. The whole package, basically as if PS5/Xbox series x and NHL 22 would have existed back in the 70's.

I remember when they first added old time players they had gear but if you edited like their masks it disappeared forever lol . At the very least they should have a creator for masks ect . They never think things out when making basic options like no helmets or will claim legal reasons. Eitherway keep letting them know now or it might take another 15 years but this year was a big step .

I can't believe that they have vintage goalie masks in the game but you can not choose them. For the last couple years they have Bernie Parent wearing the wrong vintage goalie mask and his mask is in the game, cause rogie vachon wears it but i can't switch bernie parent to his correct mask. EA NHL division looks like idiots cause there are 1000's of little details that they could fix to make the game better but they don't. They could fix a bunch of the little details one year and nothing else and i would be happy to buy the new game and think its a huge improvement from the previous years game. Oh and make it an option to edit each player and change their number from the edit lines screen that would save so much time.

But then retired numbers would probably still change in playoff mode haha so many glitches and work arounds to make this game fun . I also remember those fiberglass masks having issues where a players hair or face would partially show through it .

The need to make Playoff mode like how it was in NHL 14. Injuries don't occur in NHL 22 even with it turned on.

Never knew one that I'll have turn it on and max it out , I do know retired numbers doesnt work in playoff mode , lots of work arounds though . It sounds minor but most HOFers with wrong numbers is annoying. Garryowen

I don't know if it would be possible have team builder like NCAA 14 had. Where u could edit mask on ps5/Series X. Wish NHL would have an editor like Madden have in Franchise Mode.
