Nice article, very in-depth as usually from Kevin G. I haven't tested every aspect of gameplay, but what I have. I completely agree.

Lots of potential and good aspects on 1.00 gameplay, hopefully they still keep updating game and also it's gameplay. Good refresh start would be at begin of new football season (modes, improved gameplay and UI improvements) and maybe next year to jump on Unreal 5.

If they had a master league, I would acutally pay 19.99 for that mode. Nice review as well!

        Good article.

Hope they ditch that menu color scheme sooner rather than later. It's a very late 90's/00's feel. Actually the menus in general are still stuck in the past. Not the biggest priority though.

If nothing else the very least Konami should do is open up offline to all available teams, difficulties and game length. I'm sure all their partner clubs would appreciate the exposure as well. Especially true if the next update is going to take another 7 months or until the start of the next football season.

BTW those cards in Dream Team mode are the most uninspired looking design ever. For the mode that they want to be the cornerstone going forward you would think they'd put some real effort into making those cards look good.

I can't hit the download button, I just can't. I'm enjoying watching others play and manage the RPG elements of this, but at the end of the day I don't do online, and we know the monetization model is going to kick in shortly with people being able to literally buy players. I can't. I'll just watch TrueBrits and Pesuniverse lol.

I tried it. The gameplay is awesome now tbh. I bought a couple of mid 70 rated players from the credits I got from playing a bit in the past and had a blast playing the offline spanish event so far. On higher difficulty (I play on pro atm) a had a couple of wonderful games, so realistic. Feels very polished. Don't know about online yet.

In training mode you can pick every team and play a game against every team. For as long as you like. The arena is always the same though and it's an eye sore going from sun to shadow.

The problem is YOU guys keeping this game relevant !! With such a product we should middle finger those Konami guys back and not spend a second on this ****ty game.

                    Why is that?

Yeah it had a HORRIBLE launch and isn’t the complete product that PES 2021 was/is in terms of mode but the gameplay is solid and it’s free.

I personally haven’t dumped a penny into it.

So, uh, I did some digging, and this game has a full practice arena mode where you can play with any team in the game (not just the 8 or whatever in authentic mode) vs AI.

Seriously, this free to play game has FIFA beat on one my most requested features in a football game. I'm fully back on board lol.
