Just renew for a month @ 5bucks and test the Madden waters, of course if you play more EA games then go for longer, but thats what what I'm probably going to do is go for a month and see if the game improved enough on ps4 to warrant a purchase.

If you are no doubt getting the game, don't do this. Release is also the 16th, so you would be wasting $5

Release is the 19th for everything except the insanely overprice MUT edition.

Last Madden I bought I didn't get it til it went down to $25.....which was the 2019 game and it went down quick lol. Then I realized why........Haven't bought one since.

Me too , even though franchise mode is improved and I will be playing it , my last 3 years playing MUT have me hooked on the head to head competition. I play Madden every day so spending a few extra bucks to get a jump on things is fine with me.

Forgive me for asking as I’m a new Xbox owner. Will I be able to play the 10 hour trial if I have game pass ultimate (which includes EA play, I think)?

Just a heads up. There was an issue last year where if you didn't manually quit the game and restart your console, it ate up your trial hours. I think EA came in at release and reset the hours...but just to be on the safe side, once you're done playing, manually quit the game.
