There was a lot of good things I heard about defense, the new meters, movement etc. Again I cannot stress enough for those who can to create an unpatched version of 2K23 at launch. This is so that when the game eventually gets patched back to **** in two weeks, at least we can have a version of the game unpatched we can compare with.

We'll see what happens after the game has been released for 2-3 weeks. The game has been mostly solid on release day then come the patches due to the crybabies. What's the point of putting all that hard work into making the game "better" than last year only to patch it, so it's "easier"? IMHO, gamers should be at a point where you should either sink or swim with NBA 2K when it comes to "realistic" basketball.

After playing MyTeam (particularly Limited Mode) for a majority of my gametime, most players are bums if they can't hide behind game exploits and are forced to use actual basketball IQ.

Still need to hear about defensive rotations and the drive and kick game. Needs huge improvement from the last two years on next gen.

Am I missing something from the video? It looks like it's still too easy to pass into the paint and pick n roll dunk cheese.

and it’s not just the “online guys”. Nobody wants to learn how to play the game.

We’ll have full on posts about how it’s impossible to get past the CPU on Day 2. Eventually 2K has to dig in and stand on what they put out…

              Good impressions from Shake though…

Pretty sure the footage is 2k22. He's just talking about 2k23.

True that. When I have to grind for experience points against the CPU in MyTeam, I feel like the CPU is not even a challenge for me.

One would think that 3rd time has to be the charm for getting help defense back to where it was prior to the jump to next gen.

I wanna know if they fix the DNA bug copy feature (For Draft-class makers)

loosen the defensive shooting strength &gather

CPU AI more challenging and smarter on offense

They actually update tendancies every roster update with real mid-range& 3-point attempts and not have every player drive to the basket 95% of the time

Finally Surpass NBA Live 10 Authentic Crowd Court Audio for Next Gen systems

No excuses they even got Lakers Authentic Organ for crying out loud

Thanks for the videos, i had a chance to go back in time with them.

                        And one would be really surprised in 2022; why can't we have that some good stuff that Live 10 had below;

1- Different player speeds on the court while walking running between different players. It feels that they jog, run, walk etc. better than 2022 2k. Speeds are mostly the same with 2k there are maybe 2-3 types of speeds between players and ratings don't really differ players in speed.
                        -
2- A whole lot better footplanting and weigh to the players(yea i know animations can get whacky at times and break physics but i'm mainly talking about simple dribbling and defenders containing counters at simultenous times; so basically offense and defense are on the same footwork and speed here when there ain't no interaction, no speed boost to offense or defense or R2 having different advantages to offense) Simultenous movement, not perfect here but better than waht we have in 2022..
                        -
3- Onball contain defense natural transition betw animations when sprinting directly towards the defense and no slipping by on or getting by easily just to get by easily, there is defense on these sequences no let go or watch what offense do but standing on d for a solid one:
                        Ex1: https://youtu.be/Gv4a2A6Dsv8?t=490

(^^And yes defense loose footplanting, i don't care on these sequences cause it's the interaction and how it feels and how it justifies what matters the most on these circumstances, so there is a seperation between normal jogging footplanting and off-def interactions and how they weigh and feel with my hands on controller say it p2p etc.(if the outcome is good i don't care the term).

                        Ex2: https://youtu.be/Gv4a2A6Dsv8?t=202
                        Ex3: https://youtu.be/Gv4a2A6Dsv8?t=645
                        -
4- HELP DEFENSE (Are we talking about help defense in 2022, still?) Basketball 101 is missing in 2k in 2022! NBA 2K22 cutter help is whack and help d is close to non existant on the paint. But here a simple help d is right on in the year of 2009.(When the game is actually created not the name.)

                        Ex1: https://youtu.be/Gv4a2A6Dsv8?t=208

^^Can you see how Rasheed position himself to contain Kobe if he gets to the rim. That's how simple help D is and should be in 2022 2k. Right? Yea 2k has no help defense, yet they were talking all that ice defenses containing Jordan and all that much of defensive settings which all mean absolutely ZERO to NONE for a basketball team defense, they were talking to nba coaches and their defensive rotations day by day and all that jazz. We know the tragic story of defense implementations(no nothing zero implementations btw.) over the years... And that useless ACE etc. I don't want fancy terminologies which won't have any effect on the court that i don't see no more please, simple is the best 2k do you see where Rasheed position himself to protect the paint against Mamba on that drive he let go off Bynum and wait for Mamba! That's all we need a solid 101 basketball help d. Easy this is from 2009, it's been 13 years! 13 years since that help d on live 10....

Don get me wrong i'm not comparing Live 10 to NBA 2K22, and i'm most certainly not saying Live 10 is a better represantation of basketball which is not ofcourse; BUT there are good fundementals happening here for a better NBA game product and those are still lacking in NBA 2K after 13 years guys 13..
I remember i played Live 10 to the fullest a very good game of its time and lead to one of the best 2k's of all time to NBA2K11. So this is not acceptable 13 years of progression and we're still talking about HELP D! Get AI here, are we talking about practice!?

                            Exactly 💯

Just like we want madden to have 2k5 highlights Presentation we all should push 2k to have NBA Live 10 Authentic Crowd Arena Audio

I appreciate the Authentic Announcers but now you got to put some cheese on that pizza and let it cook

Absolutely. There's no excuses. They already proved it could be done back in 11 & 12, respectively. This generation of games are leaps and bounds above the technology they had back then, so it shouldn't be an issue.

I would imagine the inclusion of the Jordan challenges will put authentic arena sounds back on the map.
