    4/8 - 4/21 Game Discussion Thread

Will the Cardinals be above .500 by the end of this thread? Stay tuned...
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Man Volpe looks good. And boom goes Soto for his first Yankee stadium homerun.

Reminds me of Mets fans booing their Head Trainer when they get introduced on opening day every year until he got fired.

That wasn't a strike Mookie, but then again, Bailey Ober is on one of my teams, so maybe it was :P

Crazy game at GABP, Reds got out to an 8-0 lead, Brewers got back in the game, and it's currently 10-8 Reds with an Elly De La Cruz ITPHR in the 8th.

That ends up being the final despite Milwaukee getting traffic on the bases agaist Diaz in the 9th.

Three run lead in the 8th doesn’t feel safe

Cubs in a wild game of their own, with the bullpen allowing an 8-0 lead to turn into 8-7 once Assad leaves.

And the Pads take the lead in the 8th on a Tatis blast. This one is going to hurt.

I turned it off in the 5th when it was 8-0.

Pirates should have won that. Perez pitched great, Bednar blew it again. 3 blown saves already. I remember reading that he was dinged up in Spring Training, you can't have him closing like that.

Next thing on Manfred's agenda should be getting rid of hitters timeouts, enough.

The more time passes, the more Bob Costas gets on my nerves, but I agree, kind of sucky to take Ben Brown out at 4 2/3 on his starting debut. Yes, I understand he was slated for around 75 pitches tonight and he is at 77, still.
