7/15 - 7/28 Game Discussion Thread
All Star week.
Trades should start heating up within this timeframe. Really wanting St.Louis to go get Jack FlahertyI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Great opening for the HRD combined with playing "Take Me Out" in the background (not the 7th inning stretch song).
This was in borderline Roseanne/Carl Lewis territory.Last edited by Majingir; 07-15-2024, 08:39 PM. -

Was rooting for Witt, but Teoscar seems like a good dude. Pretty good derby.Comment

These jerseys are atrocious.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Well despite the ugly uniforms. No sport does it better then MLB as far as the ASG goes. A good competitive game. Something the NBA and NFL can't offer.Comment

AL returns to King of the Mountain. The start of another 9 game winning streak perhaps?I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I don't fault MLB for going the extra mile, their YouTube channel highlight video for the All-Star Game is 17 minutes long, but like, can't you make an alternate that's 5 minutes? Jesus.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Re: 7/15 - 7/28 Game Discussion Thread
Jays do it (as do Raptors/Leafs, but that's done by the broadcasting network not the league) with rebroadcasts of their game in 30 mins which is basically 20 with TV ads.
In a time where more people just watch YouTube highlights and social media clips and that's it, leagues should definitely be putting out condensed versions of games online.
Like I said, maybe it exists already because I haven't gone out of my way to see if it exists league wide, but if it doesn't exist it should.
I know NFL Network used to do the same too. They'd literally have broadcasts of games where you're only watching every snap. No timeouts, no breaks in play, no ads. I think you could get through every snap of a game in 15 mins. If you do want to stretch it out and let each play breathe, you could probably still condense it into a 20-30 min video.
I wonder how long an MLB video would be if you're only watching the last pitch of every AB. As in, the final pitch of each AB regardless if that pitch is a strikeout, walk, hit, out. That would be 60-80 "clips".Last edited by Majingir; 07-19-2024, 01:50 PM.Comment
